Thanks to all that have made the last five days so special. It is always great to see old friends and make new ones along the way. A special thanks to Karl, Momo, Asta, Opus, and Olive for surprising me with this wonderful getaway in Paris. I truly believe that they have out done themselves on this one.

I treasured all that I have met while blogging and hope to stay in touch checking things out with my sister Gracie. You all have been such wonderful friends.

Too much credit has been given to me about the productions of CCSI. Without all of you this award winning show would never have gotten off of the ground. The show is being left in good paws and production for the next show is already in the works.

My final post will be on Monday. Love and peace to all of you.

Retirement Party Day Four-Party At Versailles

Just when I thought the gang couldn't outdue themselves on the celebration of the last several days of my retirement party I found out quickly that I was wrong. They all put their furry little heads together and thought that the perfect place for a party would be at Versailles and rented it out for a private party, which all you are invited to attend.

There was dancing, authentic costumes for the dancing, and a Lifetime Achievement Award presented to me in honor of my contributions towards CCSI. So much more to tell you about it would be easier if you join the party over at the CCSI blog and join in on the fun because you are all invited to attend this most wonderful night of coming together as good friends.

A Retirement Party

The day has come that I have mixed feeling about, the time to say good bye but not wanting to. I am stepping down from my position at Little Productions, see yesterday's post. I have been blogging for two years and I treasure each and everyone of you that I got to know while on this journey. I have made many friends and have some friends that are like family, the family friends are the heart of the CCSI series. So it is only fitting that a small gathering was held in the executive boardroom for one last time together. Won't you please join us in my farewell.

Here we all are at the festivities, bottoms up toasting to my retirement. Oh what fun memories that we all share from our many adventures. What one of us couldn't think up to do the other one could.

After the party we all gathered outside the studio lot where my moving van was packed and waiting. I took this time to present Opus with the key to the studio lot. He will now be Executive Producer and I assured Asta, Karl, Ruis, Momo, & Olive that they would all be in good paws. Gracie looked on as we said our good byes, no I take that back we said until we meet again. We will meet again someday, I know for sure, as I will meet all of you again wether it be here in the blogging world or at the bridge. We will once again all play and have adventures.

When I left Opus, having the weight and future of the CCSI shows on him, took a walk through the studios and reflected on some of the fun things that we had shared. On the sound stage he felt his brother, Roscoe, presence and feeling the closeness of his brother knew that this was a task he would not take lightly but would take it on. He would continue to oversee the production and make sure that the highest of standards would always be part of each production. I would like to present to you at this time the first look at the 2009-2010 season of the executives of Little Production, producers of the award winning CCSI: Cat/Canine Crime Scent Investigators.

It is with a heavy heart and sadness that I am letting you all know that Sassy has been MIA since May. She prefered to spend her time outside though we tried to bring her in with the family. Around the time she left our other two cats, Guy and Punkie, disappeared too. About this time there were several tom cats around so we think that they thought things were too croweded her and moved on. Guy at one time was missing for nine months and came back, so I am hopeful that Sas will show up one day.

On several occasions I have spotted a black cat in the area but cannot get a good look. I am hoping that all of them are safe and found a nice farm where they are enjoying their new digs. There are so many farms out here where they can find food and shelter.

My head tells me one thing but my heart tells me another. I have decided to listen to my heart, it makes things a little easier. She had many adventures during her almost two years of blogging so I have decided to retire Sassy's blog with a little send off that will be held tomorrow. Please stop by tomorrow and say your farewells. Please don't be too sad just pray that she is safe somewhere.

Thursday Party

With the surprise birthday party Olive gave Opus winding down I realized that my dear sweet sissie was having a birthday this Thursday. I told Asta that we would spend the day together, just the two of us. I wanted to surprise her with a party and the whole gang so I blind folded her.

We got into the van and took one last fly over the Coliseum before we headed to the surprise destination. All of the gang had to be really quiet so she would not know that they were inside the MFV.

Head over to Asta's to help celebrate her third birthday and see where we ended up. You will never be able to guess the right answer.

With summer in full swing and getting back from my getaway I thought this would be a good time to catch you up on some of the happenings at Little Productions. One of the first things I did was to shake things up a bit by making a couple of changes.

Going over the requirements for the summer internship

Olive, Opus's sister, is the new kid on the block and is trying hard to keep up with the gang. I thought it would be a nice idea to offer her a summer internship working at the studios. This will allow her to learn about the production here from the ground up. Her first assignment was to be our official photographer and take behind the scene photos etc. This is the Emil Summer Internship program started in memory of our friend that we lost a little over a year ago. Emil is certainly missed by all who knew and loved him. We are entrusting Olive with the camera Emil used and hoping she will keep his spirit alive by getting the candid photos that he took. Welcome aboard Olive!

I also thought that we needed to expand our media. Since we have been so success full with the CCSI shows I decided that we should into the television viewing so I put this plan into action. After acquiring the television station I asked my dear friend Karl, who has done such an outstanding job in production, if he would be our station manager. Karl took all of two seconds before he gladly accepted. Thanks for stepping in, I can hardly wait to see what new and exciting things you will produce. My dear friends I am checking in from a private island that I found for rent and decided to spend a little time here. You see I found out that I was about to be dumped by moth AGAIN! Well before she could dump me I decided that I would dump her first. Yes, the table has turned, she will be the one left alone and not know when I will head back. Serves her right!

I will miss visiting with all of you but as you can see from the photo there is on electricity here so I didn't bring my computer with me. I might try to put messages in a bottle and let the tide do its work hoping that maybe some of my thoughts will get to you. I will miss all of you so much and want to let you know that I will be thinking of all! Please don't forget me. I will soon return.

My sister, Momo, that lives in Australia is graduating today along side of her SS at the University of Sydney. The ceremony is taking place today and afterwards there will be a lot of celebrating taking place. You are all welcome to attend the ceremony and parties taking place at Momo's blog.

It took some doing but our mission was topped off with success! After a long search we finally caught up with Karl and Ruis enjoying a second honeymoon trip in Bora Bora, Tahiti. The gang, Opus, Olive, Momo, Asta, and I knew they were planning on getting away for some alone time but you see . . . well it's always been all for one and one for all . . . so we decided to join them. We put in a lot of hours and searched high and low. All of our efforts paid off.

CCSI V: The Old Famous Caper is now a happy memory as is the party that was held at the Byrd Mansion, where the show was filmed. I have said it before and I will say it again, "A picture is worth a thousand words." With this in mind the video is a whole chapter in a best selling book.

Be on the lookout because Little Productions is getting into the television. An announcement will follow in the future. I will give you a little hint: CCSI-AFOOFA.

Asta, Karl, Ruis, Momo, Opus, Ollie, and myself have gathered around in the front of the Byrd Mansion, also known as Westover, in Virginia, where the latest CCSI show just wrapped up another exciting episode. Our tradition is to always have a cast party after a wrap and we just now realized that there was no location reserved for this event. With Memorial Day a lot of the places we would want to use are already booked so now and we need to figure out where to host the party.

After sipping on delicious New Zealand wine that Momo brought from home Ollie decided to get some exercise and climbed up on the roof. While she was up there she had the perfect idea on where to have the party! The party would be hosted right at the location of where the show was filmed at. We all agreed that this was the perfect place!

The cast joined us in a glass of wine while we waited for the necessary decorations, food, and tables to be delivered so the party could begin.

The cast is eager to help with the preparing of the food, as they are all starving and ready to eat! They have gathered around to be the first in line when the food is ready. Asta has asked Pearl and Titus to keep an eye on things making sure that the party didn't get out of hand. Not that this has happened before....

All of a sudden we heard Asta shouting from the garden . . . we all raced over to her and to our surprise we see our loved ones that have gone over the bridge appearing in the fountain! . . . we couldn't believe our eyes . . . how nice to see them here with us again . . . we also took this time to commemorate all the men and women who died while in military service since today is Memorial Day.

Later in the day Miles wanted to act out the first ever CCSI corpse scene one more time. Ruis, a most talented director, could not pass up shooting another scene. Ollie and Asta assisted Ruis with the camera work so this spontaneous moment would be forever remembered in film.

Finally the food is cooked and we all gather around to enjoy the finest buffet prepared for today's celebration of a wrap. It is so great to be with great friends, sharing in good food and fun. With full bellies everyone was talking about what I was up to next. I had tried to hire entertainment and make it a surprise for all but nothing in the blogging world can be kept a secret for long. Finally I could let the humans out of the bag and the entertainment could begin. . . . Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, kitties, and doggies, presenting for your entertainment . . . ELVIS!

CCSI V Marathon, Treats, & Gifts!

This week ends with the final show of CCSI V: The Old Famous Caper. I thank all of our viewers that stopped by and appreciate all of your nice comments. Because of the great demand to have the show continue I have decided to make this holiday weekend a CCSI Marathon. Starting Saturday, and Sunday there will be back to back episodes for your viewing pleasure.

There will be free popcorn and soda pop, which I shall be serving to all, available for you to take into the theatre and enjoy while you watch the show.

CCSI V: THE OLD FAMOUS CAPER Part II

CCSI V-THE OLD FAMOUS CAPER

PART II

The CCSI team went over the Will with a fine-toothed comb and some fancy chemical analysis. They had the lab check the ink for age and for forgery. Sure enough, the ink is new and doesn't match Old Cat Famous's paw prints! But we just couldn't find anything for sure. We had to leave. No body, no crime…

Wow, a helicopter arrived to return us all home, flown by Skeeter's old friend Flyright Mhor. Skeeter and the CCSI team board and are lifted away, dejected. As they rise in altitude, Detective Skeeter gazes out the window. His ears perk up.

Skeeter: "Lt Dewlap and Lt Meezer, look out here. See the dead trees below? And the pond? And that evergreen forest? And look at the mound over there." They are exactly like Lady Di Famous's personal garden!

And then he yells to Flyright, "Hey, can you land over there by that mound?"

Flyright Mhor: "Sure thing Skeeter, some catnip down there?"

Good old Flyright, he turned the helicopter around so fast there were hairballs all over the place…

Skeeter: "Not Nip, Flyright, something sad, I suspect."

They land and all hop out. Lt Dewlap immediately crinkles his nose.

Lt Dewlap: "Dead kitty here, Skeeter. Sorry."

Lt Meezer was first to find the mound entrance. She rushed in but came out crying. "It's Fergle", she says. "I'd bet 2 lives on it." But she is a professional. She went back in and took fur samples. It was Fergle, as her equipment showed. There was even fur in his mouth; Lady Di Famous's.

Back at the Old Famous Place, we confronted Lady Di Famous with the facts.

She broke down in tears, as all good criminals must. She confessed she did it to get the estate for herself and her daughter Brighteyes. From the look of horror on Brighteyes's face, we knew she wasn't involved. That was a relief! Lady Di was lead away helpless by the scruff of her neck.

Skeeter: "I was well-paid in Nip and Ham. A few days later in my office, a tapping came at the door. I cautiously opened it and in walked the most beautiful lady cat you ever saw. Diamond-studded collar, soft smooth fur, micro chipped for sure, and I bet all her shots are up to date too…

She said her name was WowWow Evermore and that she had a 'slight problem' maybe I could help her with." WowWow: "Ooh, is that fresh Nip?" Skeeter: "Join me in a Niptini and some ham, and tell me about your problem"? Life is good…

CCSI V: THE OLD FAMOUS CAPER PART I

Welcome to the fifth installment of CCSI - Cat/Canine Crime Scene Investigators! This promises to be a show that will be remembered and talked about for many years to come. But before we start the program we would like to take a few minutes to remember our writer of this exciting show, Skeeter.

Sadly to say Skeeter isn't here to see the airing of the show he wrote and he is missed by all. This show is dedicated to him in his memory and the crew has made sure that all efforts have been made to see that this productions would make him proud. His sisters LC and Ayla filled in when help was needed to the screen play adaptation. I had asked the family if someone could write a little biography to share with you all today. Big Thing, that is what Skeeter called his human, had these following love filled words to share . . .

"A little bio... Wow, that is difficult. How to compress 16 years of love and life into a short space?

I found him at 4 months old in a small pet shop that was being noisily renovated. He was alone and terrified. He slowly healed in our home, though he never got over a terror of plastic bags and noise. He grew to be a gentle giant of 16 pounds with muscles that rippled when he stretched, and he was a long cat. Without any apparent training, he became a great hunter of rodents and I once saw him jump 5 feet straight up to snag a bird. He was dedicated to me. If when outside he lost track of where I was, he would moan. In spite of his size and strength, he was a wonderful lap cat, and he was kind and gentle with other cats. He slept close to me at night all his life . . . was always a loving affectionate friend. On his last day, when he started to fall over while trying to walk, he gave me a look that clearly said he needed to be released from this life into the next one . . . he was released to the Bridge that day.

Skeeter was buried with honors reserved to VSC (Very Special Cats). While he never had a favorite place outside, he had spent much of the previous day by the small pond. I have had many cats in my long life, but he is the only one with a memorial."

We extend our sorrow to Skeeter and all families that have lost loved ones. Our hearts are always heavy with the sadness as we miss them daily. A hole is left in our hearts that will never quite heal but slowly we can remember without the tears falling down our face. Keep all that have had losses in your thoughts and prayers as they heal. Know that your loved one is forever free of pain and forever will be free to run and play with those that have gone before them and they are waiting to someday play and run with you once again. Take the time each day to let those that are with you how much you love them and always treat all with the kindness they so deserve.

Now it is time to sit back, get out the snacks, and enjoy the viewing of CCSI V: The Old Famous Caper - Part I written by dear Skeeter.

CCSI V - THE OLD FAMOUS CAPER

Part I

Detective Skeeter is in his office. It is a bit run-down. An old used desk, a few file cabinets, a few empty bottles of 'Old Nip" scattered around. A few photographs of treasured successful cases solved… A client walks in. Obsequious servant type…

Furred NoName: "Detective Skeeter, my employer wishes to hire you to investigate a possible murder. He has been told you are most talented at old unsolved crimes."

Skeeter: "Yes I am. For a fee. Shrimp and ham every day, plus primo catnip. Can your employer afford that?"

Furred" "Without any problem. Your reputation is well known and his interest is great".

Skeeter: "Great, when do we start?" Furred: "A car is waiting".

Furred and Skeeter drive off in a fancy car.

Skeeter enters the Famous Old Place of Old Cat Famous wearing his standard "Bogie" overcoat. The décor is astonishingly tacky, but everything is very expensive. Like a Las Gatos casino. The furniture was in rich purple and pink corinthian leather. Catnelius VanderKitty would have been impressed. Old Cat Famous quickly ushered Detective Skeeter into his study. His "study" is larger than Skeeter's whole house.

Old Cat Famous: "Detective Skeeter, I have asked you here because my only son disappeared several years ago. I thought it was a botched kit-napping, but recent events have caused me to doubt that. I now fear it is a family matter.."

Skeeter: I felt sorry for Old Famous. But it isn't the first time a family has done in its own. "I will do my best to solve this sad crime" was all I could say. "I will need free run of the house and yard, and I will need to speak to all the family and hired help."

Skeeter calls in the CCSI team, then wanders the grounds.

The CCSI team takes blood samples from the family and hired help. Lt Dewlap starts sniffing the grounds. Lt Meezer starts looking into hidey places and takes fur samples from the carpets and under sofas.

Skeeter comes across Lady Di Famous in the garden.

Skeeter: "Lady Di, you have an interesting garden. Very unusual."

Lady Di Famous: "Yes, it suits my interests. The other Lady cats are impressed when they visit".

Skeeter observes the garden with interest. There are bare twigs stuck in the ground in one corner, a tiny 1 foot pond nearby, some tiny evergreens in another corner, and a small mound between them. There was even an "X" next to the mound.

Skeeter: "I'm no gardener", he thinks to himself, "but this is one really weird garden." And "Ma'am, when is the last time you saw Fergle"?

Lady Di Famous: "Three years ago, when he was kit-napped. We mourn his absence daily."

Skeeter steps into the house, where Lt Meezer asks "Have you noticed that there are no pictures of Fergle "Mousemaster" Famous anywhere in the house?"

Brighteyes Famous overhears and says, "Momma had them all removed the day after Fergle was kit-napped." And she skips off to play with toy mousies…

Lt Dewlap comes in with a copy of the family Will. Says "This was slipped under the door to me. I can smell Furred NoName all over it."

Skeeter: We examined the Will. Everything went to Lady Di Famous and Brighteyes. That meant it was new, as Old Cat Famous adored his son cat Fergle and had previously declared that Fergle would take over the entire estate some day!

After attending Myrna and Gilbert's wedding of the year Opus and Olive came up with the great idea of sending a special gift to the new couple. They thought that a honeymoon of the year would be perfect and asked Karl, Momo, Asta, and myself if we were in on this.

Our gift to the newlyweds was a perfect stay in Venice. No step was left unturned as we all did our part to keep a low key while making sure that everything they might want would be ready and available for them.

Olive, Opus, Momo, and Sassy at work in the lobby overseeing that services of the hotel for our special guests are of the highest quality.

The three of us decided to get together to help pass the time away in the good old USA. While Opus and Olive are here we will be showing her around the studio lot. Since moth has been busy the last five weeks visiting with her daughter I pretty much have been left to myself. I have enjoyed my time to myself and have kept a low profile. Well the last several days have been spent looking at old films of the many adventures that I have taken with my dear friends.

I have missed all of you and seeing these old movies have made me feel not so lonely. I look forward to being able to visit with my friends soon.

. . . Great news!!!!!! I got a message from Karl. He has been lonely too and isn't getting any blogging time. Anyway he asked if he could come over to my place and we could hang out together!!!!!!! Perfect!!!!!!!!!

After working long hours at the studios for the last several weeks I thought it was time to stop and smell the flowers. I am heading down south where the weather is nice and warm. Believe it or not I am vacationing alone. This is truly a first! I am looking forward to the tranquility that this trip will offer.

No Karl you won't be able to find me because you don't know which beach I will be at. By the time you figure out which beach I am at I will already be back up north. Ha, ha, ha.

While moth, mom of the house, is busy visiting with her daughter for the next few weeks or so I have decided not to let all this idle time for me go to waste. I am taking advantage of my down time and hitting the studio working on the next CCSI project. My faithful board members are also working along side of me putting in lots of long hours.

I am happy to report that we have a script, cast, crew, and work has started. There are new and exciting things happening for this show that have never, I repeat never, been done before!

We will keep you posted as things deveop along with the production. I am sorry that I haven't been able to visit and hope you will understand. Please don't forget me I will visit as soon as I get free time to do so.

A Valentine's Party!

It's Valentine's Day and Asta is hosting a party at Castello San Marco in Italy! Thanks to Opus who picked us up in the MFV we all arrived safe and sound. There were so many of us that he had to make two trips.

The first to arrive were, left to right, Stella, Stanley, Asta, Lacie, Charybdis, Momo, Socks, and Scylla. They were watching as the MFV made the second trip with Ruis, Karl, Opus, and myself on board.

Karl and Ruis treated us to a trip to Mount Etna for an early morning look see. I got separated from the group and was wondering why I decided to venture off on my own.

All together again we got dress up and posed for a group photo before heading to Castello San Marco for a night of celebrating Valentine's Day.

I miss you all and I don't know what to do to get her to work for me again. She did say for quite awhile that the blogging would have to take back burner for awhile and it didn't happen but now . . . arghhhhhhhhh! Any ideas anyone?

Just know that I will try and visit when I can. We are all fine here so not to worry.

"Dearest Friend,
Sending a big hug to you from across the miles. I do hope that your first days of 2009 have been filled with fun, love, and laughter. Tonight is a BIG night here in Italy. According to Italian folklore, Befana (the good Christmas witch) will visit our homes. Before you go to bed, you must hang your stocking up and if you have been a good kitty or doggy (which I know you have) Befana will fill your stocking with goodies . . . hang your stocking before you go to bed in hopes that Befana will leave you treats!

Behind The Scenes CCSI IV

This post is dedicated to Emil the first paparazzi photographer of the CCSI shows. I have no doubt that little Emil is taking photos of others that are at the Rainbow Bridge. If only we could see those photos.

I had asked Karl to let me know how Emil got into taking photos on the set of the CCSI shows and received the following from him.

"When Emil was hanging out on the set of CCSI III he saw many things that were not meant to be public! He had the ingenious idea that if he could capture those with a camera he might be able to sell them and this way make money for charity! He begged me for a camera and as I didn't really know what it was for and thought he just wanted to take pretty pictures of the desert I gave him one, actually engraved his name on it too . . . the idea - money for charity is always good, right? . . . there was no stopping the paparazzo - a name he proudly gave himself . . . he took great joy in his work and had an uncanny ability to catch cats, and dogs, off guard!"

We miss you Emil and the others that are now at the bridge. Always know that all over the bridge are close to us in our heart and thoughts.

Now let's begin with the behind the scenes photos of CCSI IV - The Momomo Caper. I would like to mention that no injuries or accidents happened while filming.

Opus and I gave the cast a lesson in method acting. This is something that we studied while attending the Actors Studio in New York City.

'Twas After Christmas

'Twas after Christmas, and all through the house,
Nothing would fit me, not even a blouse.

The cookies I'd nibbled, the eggnog I'd taste,
At the holiday parties had gone to my waist.

When I got on the scales there arose such a number!
When I walked to the store (less a walk than a lumber).

I'd remember the marvellous meals that were prepared,
The gravies and sauces and beef nicely reared,

The wine and the rum balls, the bread and the cheese,
And the way I'd never said, "No thank you, please.

As I dressed myself in an old shirt,
And prepared once again to do battle with dirt.

I said to myself, as I only can,
"You can't spend a winter disguised in that shirt!"

So--away with the last of the sour cream dip,
Get rid of the fruitcake, every cracker and chip.

Every last bit of food that I like must be banished,
Till all the additional ounces have vanished.

I won't have a cookie--not even a lick.
I'll want only to chew on a long celery stick.

I won't have hot biscuits, or corn bread, or pie,
I'll munch on a carrot and quietly cry.

I'm hungry, I'm lonesome, and life is a bore.
But isn't that what January is for?

Unable to giggle, no longer a riot

CCSI : CAT/CANINE CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATORS II

THE SANTA CAPER

On a beautiful day in December, at the crack of dawn, one after another of the little elves wakes up, yawns, stretches, and rises.

Each puts on his or her little pointy shoes and off they run into the kitchen to greet Santa who should be sitting there, reading the paper, waiting for the hot coffee Mrs. Claus is preparing.
But what is that! No

Santa!

“Mrs. Claus, where is Santa?”

“I don’t know” answers Mrs. Claus, “I thought he was with you guys, I haven’t seen him all morning. Maybe he is in the barn with the reindeer.”
Off they go, into the barn.

“Good morning Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen. Have you seen Santa?

“No, we haven’t” says Rudolph. Donner explains “Last time we’ve seen him was yesterday evening” and Blitzen continues “When he came in to say good night.”
“Why are you asking” inquires Dasher, and Comet cuts in screaming “Where is our Santa?”

“He usually comes in before breakfast to greet us all” says Vixen. “Yes, and he brings us a treat!” cries Cupid. “That’s true” adds Prancer “and he pets us all too!” “And it is late – and he hasn’t been here today” Dancer sums up the situation. “What a mystery” Pepper Minstix mumbles. “Let’s go and check his room.” And off they race into Santa Claus’ room.

Empty!

But there is a note, on the nightstand, leaning against his alarm clock.
Alabaster Snowball picks it up and reads:

“Oh my” Sugarplum Mary screams, “they kidnapped Santa! What are we going to do?”

“We have to call in the police and let them help us find Santa Claus!” Wunorse Openslae says.

“But you read what they say: Do not involve the police!” whines Bushy Evergreen.

“They always say that” replies Shinny Upatree, “it doesn’t mean anything. We need the police to figure this out! I will call NPPDCCSI (North Pole Police Department Cat/Canine Crime Scene Unit), they will find clues that will help us to get Santa back!”

Half an hour later Detective Schlau and Dr. Hinweis arrive. They put yellow ribbon around the room so no one can go in there anymore and they start looking for clues.

“Dr. Hinweis, look at this, I found some colored eggshells. Let’s get them to the laboratory and see if we can match them to something.”

"Yes, Detective Schlau. And look ovew hewe – I found a paw pwint. And it looks exactly like a wabbit footie…. I will telepowt to the laboratory immediately and check these things out myself."

“Hmmm, colored eggshells and a rabbit footprint. I think we should pay the Easter Bunny a visit!”

Off Detective Schlau goes, knocking on Easter Bunnies door. No answer. He knocks again. Nothing. Just when the detective is ready to knock down the door, it opens and a very tired and hung-over looking Easter Bunny dressed in a Santa Claus outfit appears.

“Are you the Easter Bunny and are those Santa Claus’ clothes?” Detective Schlau asks.

“Yes. And yes. But they are mine now” and the Easter Bunny yawns, “I won them in our poker game last night!”

“What do you mean ‘poker game’? Where is Santa Claus? What happened here last night?”

“Please don’t tell Mrs. Claus. She would not approve, that’s why Santa hasn’t told her. We meet once a month to play a little game of poker,” the Easter Bunny confesses, “and last night was our game night. Santa lost everything but would not stop so he bet his clothes. That’s why I have them, because he lost again!” “And then,” Detective Schlau inquires “what happened then? Where did he go? Where is he now?”

“How would I know” the Easter Bunny exclaims, “we all had way too much eggnog, Santa borrowed one of my outfits to wear on the way home, and he left. What’s going on? Why are you asking about Santa?”

“Santa Claus was kidnapped” Detective Schlau explains. “We are looking for clues to what exactly happened.”

At that moment Dr. Hinweis teleports back and looks at the Easter Bunny evidence. "I just matched the eggshells we found at the scene of the cwime to samples of youw eggs that we have on file." “We also had found a paw print, Size 17” adds Detective Schlau. “May I ask: what size paw do you wear?”

“This is ridiculous” screams the Easter Bunny, “I was here all night, alone! Look around, there is no Santa here.”

They all start looking around when all of a sudden the Easter Bunny cries “My left hiking paw is missing! And some of my eggs are broken and most of the shells are gone! Someone is trying to implicate me in this crime! Whoever kidnapped Santa stole my hiking paw and my eggshells and left them at the scene of the crime!”

“O.K.”, Detective Schlau sighs. “Let’s start over. Who was at the game last night and could have stolen these things and taken Santa?”

“It was just the three of us, as usual” the Easter Bunny explains. “Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and me.”

“Well, Dr. Hinweis, let’s pay the tooth fairy a visit” says Detective Schlau and off they go.

“Come on in” chirps the Tooth Fairy once they arrive at her home. “So you want to know where Santa is? We left together last night; he could hardly walk – too much eggnog as usual – so I gave him a hand. But then we met a friend of his who supposedly lives closer and he took over. I don’t know who it was, it was dark and I couldn’t really see anything. I can show you were we parted ways.”

Off they go to a place where the road bisects, one way leading to the Tooth Fairy’s place, the other to Santa Claus’ home.

"Look" exclaims Dr. Hinweis "signs of a stwuggle! I have some wipped fabwic, and some haiw on it. I will send it to DNA analysis immediately, maybe we'll get a match! And it seems as if someone left a twail of colowed eggshells fow us to follow. There must have been some eggs in the Easter Bunny's outfit that Santa wowe and he used them to his advantage!"

So they follow the trail of colored eggshells deep into the woods. Minutes turn into an hour, feet become tired, and Detective Schlau and Dr. Hinweis feel as if someone were watching them…But no one there except the trees.

"Look Detective” Dr. Hinweis all of a sudden shouts “the trees are alive!” They both look up and sure enough – there is a head on every tree! And they wear jewelry too!

“Hello”, chirps the closest one “who are you?”

Before they can answer another tree whispers “I know! They are CCSI!”

“Hellooo”, murmurs a third, “we can all see that; it is written on their uniforms!”

Before the trees can get into a serious argument, Dr. Hinweis’ cell phone rings. She listens and shouts "We have a match! The DNA belongs to the Chwistkind!”

Luckily CCSI headquarters had an address on file for the Christkind and when they arrive at his house Detective Schlau takes the lead and breaks the door with his shoulder while Dr. Hinweis screams "Police. Lay down on the gwound!"

“Please don’t kill me” cries the Christkind “I didn’t mean any harm! Except for a really bad headache Santa Claus is fine, he’s sitting right there! I only kidnapped him because I wanted Christmas to be what it used to be – about family, love, and peace not about presents, greed, and shopping! I thought if Santa Claus was gone and couldn't bring the presents people will remember, sing, talk, and relate with each other.”

And after Detective Schlau released Santa Claus from his chain and Dr. Hinweis gave him some eggnog-hangover-rescue-pills, he forgave the Christkind, and didn’t press charges.

From now on the Christkind will ride with Santa in his sleigh and hand out love, peace, joy, and Christmas Spirit (40 proof, ho ho ho ho ho ho ho) because these are the most precious presents of all.

Among the Christmas classic movies such as Miracle on 34th Street, It's A Wonderful Life and Scrooge there is a new one joining in those ranks. The holiday thriller CCSI II - The Santa Caper is on the list of a must see. Tomorrow, Christmas day, The Santa Caper will be playing all day with no interruptions your viewing fun.

The Party

The party is in full swing. I am not able to totally throw myself into the party as I am worried about the mom and dad of the house. You see they were hit by an ice storm on Friday and do not have power in their house. Power probably will not be made available to them until Sunday afternoon, if even then. I feel a little selfish being in this beautiful tropical place while the temperature in their house keeps falling. Today is was at 57 degrees and they know it will just keep getting cooler. Moth and Doth spent their day in restaurants, coffee shops with Internet, and shopping in nice warm stores. Tonight they will be staying at a friend's house where it will be warm for them. They have told me not to worry and have fun but a little part of me feels guilty. Oh well, on with the party . . .

Today is the day the crew and cast from CCSI IV - The Momomo Caper kick back and have some relaxation time. I cannot at this time tell you where we are holding the party as Karl is having a contest about that. You will need to go over to his place to check that out. I do know that he has a fantastic prize for the winner. Today I will post about our arrival at ?????????? and tomorrow we will have photos of the party.

Here the executives, Opus picked us all up in the MFV, are arriving at?????????? along with Mrs, Oz, Santa, and a reindeer.

CCSI IV - THE MOMOMO CAPER PART III

. . . . . . . an ambulance is called immediately, and after Inspector Spuren checks her thoroughly he exclaims “She is poisoned too!”

While they wait for the ambulance they check the house and they find lots of herbs, and also a whole pile of nip for tea.

“Take samples, Inspector Spuren, and let’s see if this is the poisonous nip.

"It is strange though” Detective Klug wonders “that the Herbal Lady would poison herself. Let’s see if we can find out where she actually got the nip.”

But the old lady is in no condition to speak, so the CCSI team decides to take a look around and see if they can figure it out for themselves.

“Look Detective” says Inspector Spuren “here are her walking shoes. They have a very distinctive sole pattern and there is a lot of clay in the crevices. We can just follow the trail from her house. Maybe it will lead us to the nip!”

And so they do. They follow the narrow trail from the herb lady's house into the forest and sure enough, after only ten minutes they come to a clearing which is covered with nip.

“That must be it” says Detective Klug. “So where does the poison come in?”

“I might have an answer to that” explains Inspector Spuren. “The lab just called, they found the manufacturer of the specific pesticide that poisoned Dr. Kroesus and most probably the old Herbal Lady too then checked their client list. The only big sale in the last several months went to the local government here.”

“So” says the Detective “let’s give them a call!”

And wouldn’t you know it, the government admitted that they were worried about some little weed upshots in their local forest and decided to just root them out. They ordered massive amounts of pesticides and sprayed the whole forest with it. Without telling anybody because they thought no one lived there, so everything would be fine.

They agreed to pay for all the medical bills for Mr. Kroesus and the old Herbal Lady who are both to be expected to recover. They will also issue a public apology and create a department for non-toxic environment management. Mr. Kroesus donated the start-up money for that. The CCSI team was honorably awarded the first of the newly created “Fighter for a Non-Toxic Environment Award”.

CCSI IV - THE MOMOMO CAPER PART II

. . . . . . . “OK, let’s round up the suspects!” decided Detective Klug. “Get the maid and the kids in here for questioning and send his tea cup to the lab for a toxicology check!”

"No” deny the kids Paul Junior and Eva Maria in unison when they are questioned awhile later “we did not bring him anything, we actually left the house before dinner to go to a lizard BBQ at some neighbors.”

"Yes" admits the maid, "I brought him his nip tea after diner as usual. But I did not poision him, I would never do something like that, and she starts sobbing.

“Detective Klug” interrupts Inspector Spuren, “the lab just called and they found traces of a pesticide in the tea cup and the toxicology report shows the same pesticide in Dr. Kroesus blood! They are trying to pin down the exact brand and find out who recently bought it.”

“OK,” concludes Detective Klug, “it was the tea. Now if the maid didn’t do it then who did? Where did the tea come from?” he asks the maid.

“I get it from an old lady at the edge of the forest. She collects all kind of herbal remedies and sells them to make a modest living.

Off they go to pay the Herbal Lady a visit. They arrive at the little house at the edge of the forest and knock but there was no answer. They knock again, louder this time. No answer.

“Look at this,” shouts Inspector Spuren, “ I can see her sitting in her chair. Something is not right! Let's break in!”

So they break down the door and find the old lady stooped over in her chair. She is barely breathing and very pale!

An ambulance is called immediately, and after Inspector Spuren checks her thoroughly he exclaims “She is poisoned too!” . . . . . . .

The executives of Little Productions welcome you. We would like to take this time before the show starts to have a few moments to remember all of the friends that have gone to the bridge or in need of prayer support to help them have their good health return to them. During the production of this show two of our cast members have had to face trying times at home. Ayla's brother, Skeeter, has recently gone to the bridge and Billy's brother, Miles, has been in ill health. Also, this is our first CCSI since Roscoe, founding member, has gone to the bridge and we all have missed having him here with us as the production got underway. Please keep these families and others that you know in your hearts and prayers. CCSI IV - THE MOMOMO CAPER PART I

On a quiet spring morning Mrs. Kroesus neatly arranged the flowers, morning paper, and a hearty breakfast for her husband Mr. Kroesus. She does this for him each Sunday so he can enjoy a lazy morning and have breakfast in bed.

But what's this? As she enters the bedroom she notices that Mr. Kroesus is not awake. Quickly she notices that not only is he not awake but he is actually quiet lethargic, hardly responding to her calls and looking very sickly!

Mrs. Kroesus quickly called Dr. Quaksalber to come over to the house. Dr. Quaksalber takes some blood for later testing. Even though the doctor doesn't know the specifics, yet his diagnosis is clear.

“Mr. Kroesus was poisoned! We must get him to the hospital immediately!”

“Who could have done something like that?” screams Mrs. Kroesus, “we must call CCSI at once!”

Half an hour later, Detective Klug and Inspector Spuren arrive. Taking turns they inundate Mrs. Kroesus with questions.

“Who saw him last? What has he eaten? Who served him the food? Who holds a grudge against him? Who might benefit from his death?”

“I don’t care”, she cries, “my poor Momomo.”

“What’s with the name?” asks Detective Klug, “ I thought his name is Paul Kroesus?”

“It’s his nickname” answers Mrs. Kroesus “he would always say ‘more money, more, more, more’ - so the staff started to nickname him Momomo and it just stuck.”

“Ah” exclaims Inspector Spuren “so I gather he is very rich?”

“Oh yes, he owns the biggest mouse hunting grounds around, and his exotic lizard head collection is priceless! He is the richest cat around here by far!” explains his wife.

“There we have a possible motive, money!” says Detective Klug. “Inspector Spuren take traces of all the food in here and send it to the lab. But he obviously hasn’t touched his breakfast, so let’s check what he had for dinner. And get some more blood from Mr. Kroesus to run a toxicology check.”

While Inspector Spuren puts on his gloves and gets to work Detective Klug questions the victim’s wife a bit more.

“Tell me about last night. What did he eat? When did he go to bed?”

“We had dinner together” his wife remembers, “we both ate the same things. Then we went to bed, we have separate bedrooms. He usually has a cup of nip tea served in his room before he sleeps.”

“And who serves that?” inquires the Detective. “Usually the maid” Mrs. Kroesus replies. “But sometimes the kids bring it to him.”

“OK, let’s round up the suspects.” decided Detective Klug. “Get the maid and the kids in here for questioning and send his tea cup to the lab for a toxicology check!”

Opus Escorted Off CCSI Set

I have always said that a picture is worth a thousands words and here is another example. I had asked Opus the set, due to a reason I cannot let you know at this time, and he refused to go. He had talked with me and said that with this being the last week before rehearsals before the show airs this Monday he wasn't about to cut rehearsal times short. He also said that this was not negotiable. I had talked and talked with him trying to convince him that it would be best for all if he would just take the high road and please respect my request. With all being said I had to call in for help. All of the other executives are busy putting finishing touches on their responsibilities for CCSI IV and I could not find any of them to help me. I finally called in Dr. Tweety to help me in this delicate problem and we escorted Opus reluctantly off of the set while some of the cast looked on.

A Foiled Surprise

While I was at Ruis's surprise birthday party over the weekend I overheard Karl tell him about another surprise he had planned. As the party ended Karl was taking Ruis to an unknown destination for some alone time, just the two of them. I immediately thought it would be a good idea to give Karl a surprise himself and join in on the trip, we always has such a good time when we are all together. I asked Opus, Momo, and Asta if they would like to surprise the guys and join them on the trip? They thought this was a great idea so we then packed ourselves in a suitcase, had it delivered to Karl's place, and instructions for the guys not to open the suitcase until they arrive to their destination . . .

. . .after the party, just as planned we all were on our way, to where we still didn't know but at least we were all together . . .

. . . much to our excitement we found ourselves in Cairo! We had never been there before and we patiently waited for the guys to settle into their room and unpack the suitcase we all were hiding in . . .

. . . much to our surprise the guys were so busy sightseeing that they forgot to unpack the suitcase that we had packed ourselves into . . . finally Karl and Ruis realized that they had never opened it . . . just in time as our food supply had run out . . .

. . . Karl and Ruis bought us some beautiful outfits and, since we were starving, took us out for some good Egyptian food. Over dinner we heard all about all of the things they had done while sight seeing . . . I really have to wonder if somehow Karl knew we were in the suitcase and deliberately didn't open it when they first arrived in Cairo . . . oh so much fun we missed being in the suitcase.

An Autobiography

I don't really know how Mrs. Oz knew that her services would be needed for the CCSI IV show but I am certainly glad that she found her way onto our lot. I knew as soon as I saw her that she was just what we needed on the set as we have a young cast this year. She interviewed and was gladly granted the position of caring for the young kitties two years or younger that have parts in the show we are currently working on. Welcome aboard Mrs. Oz I don't know how we could have had such successful rehearsals without your help.

I now welcome all to meet Mrs. Oz. Please stop over to her place and welcome her too.

An Autobiography

I needed to learn early to stand up against all kind of bullies who thought they could play me just because I didn't have upper canines! Boy were they wrong!

Educating the little ones in the schoolhouse on the studio lot.

Over time I developed a very successful strategy of dealing with all kinds of rambunctious cats and then found out that these strategies worked very well with kittens and "teenage" cats! I was repeatedly hired by various shelters to keep their kittens in line and received a honorary PhD in "Kitten Control" from the University of Indiana.

After many years of working in the field I retired when I moved to The Cat Realm - didn't even have to employ any of my strategies with Tintin as he is the most polite kitten I ever met – but gladly agreed to help out at the set of CCSI IV with their many young actors in case those might get "out of paw".

He's Back

The spirit kitty of Roscoe, VC

Since Roscoe went to the Rainbow Bridge in September our family has been sad and taking baby steps in the loss of not having him here with us. The day Roscoe left for the bridge a kitty appeared at our house and stops by for visits from time to time. With this being a holiday weekend and remembering those we love that are here with us and those that have gone away there was that hurt feeling the heart gets when you miss someone. The visiting kitty must know when we are feeling especially sad as he shows up at our place. Seeing him makes moth, mom of the house, perk up as she thinks that VC, visiting kitty, is letting us know that Roscoe is fine and doesn't want us to feel sad. She especially enjoys watching VC as he looks so much like Roscoe seeing him cheers her up.

Moth thinks that VC could be a brother of Opus and Roscoe. What do you think? She also thinks VC is here to cheer her up. I don't like the idea of another kitty but if it makes her happy why not I say. I guess to keep her happy his visits will be welcome ones.

We all love and miss you Roscoe, we will never forget you and will always love you. You will always be a part of our lives.

Do any of you have an idea for a name for him? I think VC is pretty stupid if you ask me. He won't be living with us because we are pretty sure he has another home but moth would like to have a name to call him when he is visiting.

Still In Need Of Prayers

Momo is still under the weather and in need of prayers to help her get better. Her SS says that she is loosing weight, not eating much, and sleeping a lot. We are all worried for our dear friend Momo and hope that she soon will perk up and get better.

Momo Needs Your Prayers

Yesterday I found out that Momo, my sissie, is ill. She was taken to the vet and the vet thinks that she may have a cat virus even though Momo has been vaccinated. Earlier this year we found out that Momo has kidney problems due to the accidental poisoning that happened earlier this year. The vet took blood and urine for testing but we will not get the results until tomorrow. Momo is very lethargic and does not want to be touched. Momo's SS is giving her liquid food by a syringe.

It is with great pleasure that Little Productions at this time is announcing that CCSI IV: The MOMOMO CAPER is under production. It is also our privilege to present to you the cast of CCSI IV.

The board members at the studio extend a big welcome to Tybalt, Queen Snickers, Aniwa, Goldie, Billy, Tintin, Ayla, Sukie, and Xing Lu and are so happy to have them in our family at Little Productions. It has been a pleasure working with all on this production and I am please to say that at this point we are ahead of schedule. CCSI IV will be shown during the month of December, as yet we do not have a date.

Busy At Work

I woke up this morning and found out that Mrs Oz presented me with the VIP Very Important Princess award! I was so honored to receive this award and it is extra special since it was given to me by my dear sweet friend, Mrs. Oz. I quickly emailed Opus to find out that he too was presented with an award and is terribly upset as his humans were not home so he could post about it. I told him not to worry and trying to keep his mind off of things I invited him to head over to my place to spend the weekend, and we might even extend the visit.

We both decided that this would be a great time to work on the new episode of CCSI IV. There should be some announcements soon regarding the cast, crew, name of the show, update on new executive board members, and a date which the show will be on the air.

Now I have to get back to work but before I do I want to again thank Mrs Oz, from the bottom of my heart, for presenting me with this wonderful award. At this time I would like to pass this award on to my sissie, Asta, a true princess.

Brunch In NYC

After have a fun filled weekend thanks to the Halloween party hosted by Asta, Eric, and Lacie we decided there still was some time left for additional fun. Not wanting to say good bye we decided to treat Asta and Lacie to brunch before we had to head back home. I would have had photos earlier but for some reason my digital camera was no where to be found, I must have left it somewhere in England so when I got back to NYC I picked up one of those cheap old fashioned camera's with the film in them. After taking photos of our Monday brunch with the gang I dropped the film off at the One Hour Photo Center. Well, the one hour photo place took two days to develop the photos.

We were going to have brunch at one of Asta's favorite restaurants, Pastis. The guys went over to Asta apartment to pick up the girls and escort them over to the restaurant where we were waiting. Not wanting the fun Halloween weekend to be over we decided to still wear our costumes . . .

. . . After a nice long brunch and comparing notes about our trip to England over the weekend the girls stayed at the restaurant for dessert while the guys headed out to The Apple Store on Fifth Avenue to check out the latest in electronic gadgets . . .

. . .the electronic junkies met back up with us at the restaurant and we posed for a final photo before we had to leave for home. We want to thank the guys as they presented each of us with our own i Pod! How sweet was that?

With darkness casting its shadows across NYC we loaded up and left for home. Opus ever alert at the wheel was being helped by Ruis and the Rand McNally Road Atlas. Karl kicked back and settled in with his i Pod while the girls and Tintin took their last peek at the city or were we trying to find Asta?

NYC & A Halloween Party!

Great news! The mom of the house is recovering nicely from her gall bladder surgery on Monday and I will be able to attend Asta's Halloween party! I think it is because of the great care Opus and I gave her that made her feel so good that we can leave her at home alone and party on. I want to thank Opus for coming over to help me with her surgery and home care.

On October 30th Asta is cohosting a Halloween party in New York with Eric and Lacie. So the first plan of action was to get Opus to pick all of us up in the MFV.

First to get picked up was Momo, in Australia, before they left Momo gave Opus a tour of the harbour . . .

. . . next stop was picking up the gang at The Cat Realm. . . This is Tintin's first big outing with all of us and he doesn't want to miss a minute of anything.

. . . Anxiously waiting for the arrival of my dear sweet friends I was next to be picked up . . . next stop New York City!

. . . Arriving in NYC we are all ready to party in our Halloween costumes. Now all we need to do is find a parking place.

UPDATE-No More Gall

MOTH UPDATE: Monday 9:19 pm

I am happy to report that the mom of the house is doing pretty good considering her operation today. I would like to think that it is due to Opus and myself overseeing the procedure that she had done today. Moth is getting the best of care at home, having been released only 2 l/2 hours after her surgery, and spent most of the day sleeping. She has eaten lightly throughout the day and isn't in too much discomfort, thank goodness for Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Her home care is excellent and she has been spoiled all the day long, as she should be.

My sissie, Asta, stopped by today to bring flowers over. Thanks Asta mom of the house really like getting flowers. She had us put them near her where she can enjoy seeing them all the day.

Opus went out while our patient was asleep and picked up some balloons for her. Thanks so much Opus for being such a sweet caring cat. You always know just the right thing to do.

She also wants to let you know that she appreciates all of your kind words and it makes her feel extra good to know my friends are worried about her and wishing her a quick recovery.

Monday is going to be a first of all firsts for Opus and myself. You see the MOTH, mom of the house, is having minor surgery. To make a long story short after her surgery no one can ever say that she has a lot of gall, as the gallbladder will be a thing of the past. I have been told that the surgery is fairly simple, as far as those things go, and the work will be done as an in out patient . . .

. . . with her facing this I couldn't let her be trusted into the hands of strangers so Opus and I will be overseeing the procedure. Opus and I have been reading up on this since last week sometime and are assisting in the operating room and overseeing her home care.

Not sure if this is my nursing outfit or Halloween outfit. I hope this doesn't make her laugh so much that she pulls her stitches.

I will not be able to visit for several days as I will certainly be busy here but you can be sure I will be around to celebrate Halloween, even if she isn't feeling good, ha, ha, ha. I mean I hope she is recovered well enough that I can leave and have some trick or treat time.

Please think good thoughts for MOTH that she makes a speedy recovery.

After celebrating my first blogoversary with a two day paint party the executives of Little Productions decide that it is time to catch up on some much needed rest. Thanks to all that helped with the party and those that came by.

For my first blogoversary I tried to think of something that hadn't been done yet and the idea of paintball sounded perfect. For those of you that don't know what paintball is or how to play I will have that information available.

WHAT IS PAINT BALL?
The sport of paintball has become recognized as one of the world's most exciting outdoor participation sports. Paintball is a combination of the childhood games such as tag or hide and seek, but it is much more challenging and sophisticated. Typically a group of players are divided into two teams with the objective of eliminating opposing players by hitting them with a paintball shot from a special airgun. Win or lose, everyone has a good time and there is always another game waiting to be played.

Mrs. Oz from The Cat Realm will acquaint you with the paintball guns and the paintballs.

Paintball guns are powered by carbon dioxide or compressed air and come in various shapes and styles. Many of the guns use large refillable cylinders called tanks or bottles, which give hundreds of shots before needing to be refilled. The paintball guns that we are using today are semi-automatic that allows you to simply squeeze the trigger each time you want to shot a paintball. The paintball gun's range is limited to only about 50 yards.

A paintball is a round, thin-skinned gelatin capsule with coloured liquid inside. The capsules are filled with a "paint" that is non-toxic, non-caustic, water-soluble, and biodegradable. You can remove the paint from clothing and skin with mild soap and water. A player who is hit and marked with paint is eliminated from the game.

Before we divide into teams I will have Tintin go over the safety rules that he was nice enough to research for me. When he is finished he will pass out your gun, paintballs, and all of the safety items you will need to make your paintball experience safe and fun. Also, we will have a target for you to practice before the games begin if you would like to do so.

SAFETY: Paintball players must always wear eye-protecting goggles specifically designed for paintball and must be worn during all games and at all times! A protective face mask is mandatory as well. Paintball is a very safe sport as long as safety rules are followed. As you can see from the photo of Tintin and myself the importance of following all these rules, plus your fur will be protected.

Yep, you guess it I am being dumped again. I decided that since I was being dumped so much that maybe there was a need for a business for this sort of thing. As you can see I am ready for business which is good because that will help fill some of my free time, no choice made by me, I will be having over the next couple of days.

We were surprised and pleased that Dr. Tweety made us a Halloween poem which I have below our Halloween photo. Dr. Tweety is a published author and quote him, "I yam self pub-leashed... I haz written a book of poemz fur cats dat dat don'ts like rain & dat haz seezonal affectedness dis-order. It iz called "When da seazonz change, doez you look likes you haz da mange?" We are so honored that he took the time to do this for us. I speak for all of the executives and say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

A New Look For Fall

Do you like the new look of my place?

When I was visiting the other day I stopped over to see Mariyln Monroew and noticed what a new beautiful blog she now has. I got the name of her designer, The Cutest Blog On The Block, and paid them a visit to see what could be done to spiff up my place. In honor of the season change I was thinking of chancing colors etc. I contacted the designer and I am so happy with the finished work, I cannot thank Marilyn enough.

I will try not to be sad but be positive as for sure summer is gone and fall is in full swing right now. The days are getting shorter, nights cooler, the sunsets are more beautiful, the leaves are turning color, and some leaves are starting to fall from the trees. I will embrace fall and enjoy all of the vibrant colors that the trees offer for us to see.

A Card Shower For Opus

Friday, September 26, if you would like to join in, a bunch of us are having a surprise card shower for Opus. We are celebrating his birthday a little late. We know he is lonely since his brother Roscoe went to the bridge a couple of weeks ago. Opus gave a beautiful celebration of life for Roscoe on their shared birthday therefore his birthday was a little forgotten.

I woke up today with Opus at my house wildly saying something about a birthday . . . Asta . . . NYC . . . MFV . . . Ruis, Karl, Momo, and me! A Welcomed Visitor

Today there was a visitor at our house. The mom of the house really liked the trespasser because as soon as she saw him/her she smiled and thought how much he/she looked a little like Roscoe. The coloring of the cat was a lot like Roscoe's but the face was very different. We have all been really sad since Roscoe went to the bridge over two weeks ago and I must say it was nice to see the mom of the house smile for a change.

The mom of the house and I think that this young cat was coming by to let us know that Roscoe is fine and everything will be OK time will take care of things. Seeing this cat perked up our day just a little.

The cat didn't stay too long, as soon as the mom was spotted with the camera he/she ran away, just as I usually do. Hate the paparazzi stuff too.
