My dear sweet friend, Emil, has gone to The Rainbow Bridge much too soon. I'm so glad that I got to know him and proud to call him my sweet friend. I shall miss him always.
Feel free to take a copy of his photo with you if you would like.

Momo and I have been enjoying our time together even though we cannot visit all of our blog friends. We do miss all of you so much and hope you won't forget us. You see Momo is visiting me because her SS is in China for work and my mom of the house has pretty much been busy lately and is soon going to dump me. This coming month and into August I still will be dumped and hardly any time for blogging and visiting. Argh!!!!! What to do!!!!
When I found out that Momo, Opus, and Roscoe were also being dumped most of the summer we all decided to get together and have an adventure. We will soon be going on a safari and we will be able to keep you posted with photos.
Please, please, please do not forget us and visit us even if we cannot find you. We are not happy about our lack of blogging time but are trying to make the best of it.
Miss all of you and will get in touch when we can.

Tell all of your friends to pray for Emil's safe return.
Please if you would like a copy of this poster take one along with you and post on your blog too.

Momo is here at my place! She will be spending all of July with me and part of August. You see her SS is residing in NW Xinjiang, China SS doing survey work related to her field of study and will be gone most of this summer.
Not wanting Momo to be all along for such a long time I suggested that she spend part of her summer with me. Before Momo came to my place she was at Sock, Charybdis, and Scylla's place for awhile having some fun time over there.
After I picked Momo up at the train station we headed back to my place to catch up on all of the things going on in the world of blogging. We also started planning our next adventure that we will be taking in July. We are going on a trip with the Italians, Opus and Roscoe.
Does this give you a pretty good idea what we might be up to next? The plans are now in the work thanks to our good pals Karl and Ruis.
Gift from Karl & Ruis
You might be wondering how Karl and Ruis figure into our safari trip. Let me explain. You see their gift to me for being their wedding planner was the most unexpected, wonderful, and fantastic gifts. They sent me the following:

an Olympus camera, palm pilot, luggage, safari outfit, paid safari trip, and paid for Momo, Opus, and Roscoe to accompany me on this trip too!
Another fantastic gift that will be waiting for me on my return trip from the safari is my very own Klingon captains chair with my name on it! I want to take this time to thank Karl and Ruis for their thoughtfulness and generosity.

I have heard it said that if you don't like the weather in Indiana just wait because it will change. Our weather that we have had in my state over the last few days has been in the national news because of the rain, rain, more rain and tornadoes.
Lucky for me, the mom and dad of the house is that the storms have been to the south of us and we have avoided the unfortunate flooding and devastation from the tornadoes. We are all OK. This is the time of the year in the midwest when special attention is paid to storms as they can be quite severe. We have had several bad storms go through our area in the past two days but again fortunate that the worst missed us.
My heart goes out to all of those in the storm's path and hope soon that things can get back to normal for them. Keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.
Now on to some award news! I received the Brillante Weblog Award given to me by Jan's Funny Farm for being multi-talented. I want to thank all of the gang for this honor and I will proudly display it on my blog. I would like to pass this award on to Asta for her love of life and the caring for all who visit at her place.

Awhile back, and I cannot remember who first did this, but there was a fun game where you had to guess which kitty was featured only by seeing the eyes. I really liked that game and today I made up one of my own. I did give you some extra help as I included their cute little nose. See how many you can guess. For the answers click on the paw back and you will find out who is who and how many you guessed right.
No peeking until you guessed all you could. Have fun!
