New York Here We Come!

Working hard over the weekend I am happy to report that the casting for CCSI III: Missing Mummy Caper is finished and I will post the announcement of the parts and the actors on Wednesday. Now that the casting is done and before the next phase of CCSI III gets started it is off to New York City.

Momo kitty was visiting Opus and Roscoe in Italy because her SS is busy with working on her thesis. After spending several days there the American/Italian mom had to go out of town for business this week. Hearing the news that these three were lonely I naturally invited them to spend the weekend with me and we would chill out with a slumber party. Our dear sweet friends Karl and Ruis heard the word party and they joined in on the fun at my place.

Now it seems that the mom of the house here is going to dump me. No good reason she is just dumping me. When Asta, my sweet Sissie, who lives in New York City realized that we would be all stuck in the Midwest with nothing to do invited us to join her. What a lovely invitation and it took all of us about a half a second to say YES.

Be sure to check things out at Asta's place if you want to know what we are up to.

Slumber Party Night Fun

The slumber party is going great. With plenty of snacks, soft drinks, pizza, movies, and good friends the evening was spent relaxing and the sharing of stories.

Just before we turned in for the night there was a knock at the door and to our happy surprise Ruis and Karl came over to be with us. Several more hours passed by and then . . .

. . . We have heard that the human teenage children do this sort of deed sometimes when they get together. We decided to see for ourselves what this was all about . . .

. . . before we knew what was happening we were downtown getting our photos taken . . .

. . . there was even a reward out for our capture and . . .

. . . then I was awakened by Momo who said I was talking in my sleep to a lawyer on the phone . Oh how we both laughed when I told her about the dream I had about Opus, Roscoe, her, and me toilet papering a house and being taken to jail.

I guess I had listened to one too many stories and ate too much junk good.

A Pajama Party For Four Plus Two More

Momo kitty has been spending the last several days in Italy with Opus and Roscoe since SS has been busy working on her thesis. I recently found out that now Opus and Roscoe's mom was going to be traveling for her business and was going to ground all to the house while she was gone. I immediately put on my thinking cap and came up with and idea . . .

. . . guess who is coming to The Heartland of America?

I awaited for their arrival in the early evening of Friday with great anticipation. Since they traveled so far I know they would be tired from their trip so this evening we will just take it easy and relax. I cannot wait to hear about all of the fun things that they did in Italy. If you would like to know about that too be sure to check things out at Opus and Roscoe's place.

After arriving safe and sound we all headed inside to catch up on the latest news.

Just when you think things cannot get any better than they are . . .

. . . there was a knock at the door as we were getting settled in for the night and now there are two more at the PJ party! Our good friends Karl and Ruis!!! Yeah!!!

Missing Mummy Caper Auditions

It is with great eagerness that I am now in the process of selecting the next cast for CCSI III: Missing Mummy Caper. There was some mix up on when the casting would be done and many have stopped by since Monday to audition for the show. In all fairness to those that thought the auditions were to be today, as reported earlier, I am still holding the call for actors open through Wednesday. I am looking for new talent as this will allow more furries to participate in the CCSI shows.

Due to the limited number of parts in the show and the large number of talented actors coming to see me I must ask that one furry per blog audition. Also be sure to let me know if you are a girl or boy seeking a part, sometimes the names can fool me.

After the call for actors is closed the actors will be separated into two groups, male and female. Their names will be put on a piece of paper, placed in a jar, and the names that are drawn will have a part in the play. The names not chosen will be put on a list and will have priority for CCSI IV. Yes, a script is being worked on as you are reading this!

I hope to have the casting finished by the end of this week with a post introducing the newest members of Little Productions.

It is with great enthusiasm that I look forward to the next installment of CCSI!

Good luck to all!!

Thanks guys, what a fantastic surprise.

A Little About Me

My sissy, Momo kitty, send me an e mail letting me know that I was featured over at The House of Panthers.

This is what they had to say:

"I tend to forget that Sassy is a cat. Most of her rather inventive blog has been dedicated to her exploits and outrageous trips around the world, often in anthropomorphized form.

But she is a cat, and a House Panther to boot. Going through her blog since she started it, I found exactly five pictures of her in feline form that had not been photo shopped in some way . . . We love your trips, but we love to see you in your natural state as well! . . .

I left them the following message:

I like to have my blog feature my adventures and use the imagination to take me to different places.

Perhaps I should let others know about me and I will share a little with you at this time. I am a stray kitty and do not have a home. I showed up on the porch of the mom of the house here and she started putting food out for me. I liked the food so much that I kept coming back, the food was so good. Now we are a kind of family.

I am pretty much a fradie cat and only trust humans that I know, then I don't trust them 100%. I always have to be on guard and this is the main reason that I don't like to be held. I do like to be petted but I only come to and allow the ones who know me to do this.

There is more to learn about me and the mom of the house said she will try and share more of that with you and try to get more photos. She will try to get photos of me but I don't really like my picture taken much, I don't like the noise of the camera when it takes a picture.

I do live in northern Indiana even though sometimes the computer thingie says I live in Indianapolis. The mom of the house doesn't know how to fix that. She likes to help me photo shop and make sure I get to go on those great adventures.

I hope you will visit me and get to know me better.
oxoxo,
Sassy

The Heartland of America

This photo was sent to me by Maggy, Zoey and Ann at Zoolatry. All of her photos are so beautifully done and this one is on exception. I like this photo so much that I am going to use it for my profile picture and I have it displayed at the bottom of my blog. Thank you all so much at Zooatry for your photo skills and sharing them with me.

At the sidebar I have a link to CFHF, Cat Friends Helping Friends, which will soon be an official 501-C3 non-profit organization, created to help cats in need around the blog world. I found this information out when I made a visit to Zoolatry. This is what Ann had to say "Zoolatry has been making photoart pictures of our friends for almost a year now. At last count we had approached nearly 1000 pictures! These are created and shared because we love cats, and we love doing the photoart work and sharing it. Yet, do you realize that if for every photoart pictures we've sent out, if the recipient donated just One-Dollar to the CFHF as a "thank you" -- well, do the math! We're going to continue doing photoart pictures, sending them, posting them and sharing them at no cost to any one. However, for anyone who would like to say "thank you", please consider a donation to CFHF, in any amount. And from Maggy and Zoey and The Zoolatry Human ... we Thank You."

Please visit the site to learn more, just click on the picture on my sidebar for a direct link to CFHF. If you would like the link code to post on your blog just ask and Ann or I will be happy to send it over to your place. Be sure to pass this information along to your friends.

Thanks Zoolatry!

Clean Up

What a party we had at Karl's place on Tuesday . . .

. . . as you can see there was a little bit of clean up to do and Opus and Roscoe wanted to help out so volunteered to pitch in with that . . .

. . . there were supervisors in the hot tub making sure the work was done properly. . .

. . . the photo tells it all . . .

. . . I haven't even made it home yet. I can see by the photo where I was when the clean up was done but that doesn't take care of the next two days. The photo also explains why I have this funky smell on my fur. Where did I go and what did I do?
