Meet The CCSI II Elves

Some say that there are 13 elves, some say 9, some 6. The elves are very clever and help Father Christmas to design the toys that children and grownups shop for at the malls, order by email or snailmail. I know of 6 elves which I am more than happy to say are going to be seen in the new CCSI II The Santa Caper and here they are.

Bushy Evergreen - MILES

Shinny Upatree - SANJEE

Wunorose Openslae - CHINA CAT

Pepper Minstix - PERCY

Sugarplum Mary - BONNIE

Alabaster Snowball - Opus

See my previous post on November 25 to find out what each elf's duties are. If you would like to be an elf yourself go to the following web site and you can see what your elf name is: http://www.jokesunlimited.com/christmas_elf_name.php

After you find what your elf name is, mine is Button Sugar Socks, it will be up to you to carry out your duties as Santa's helper.

The the production team of CCSI II are happy to be working with these wonderful cats!

NOTE: The second review for CCSI I The Kidnapped Kitty Case is published for all to see. For those of you that want to refresh your memory of the first show or those of you who want to see what happened stop on over to Tybalt's place at http://tybalttheprinceofcats.blogspot.com/ and read all about it.

New News On CCSI II

I am happy and proud to announce that three new actors are joining the cast of CCSI II The Santa Caper. The parts were specially written for them by our most distinguished writer Karl from The Cat Relm. At this time I want to introduce the newest members to join our CCSI II family staring as beautiful Christmas trees.

Momo
Charlie Yao-Lin
These three actors are a great addition to The Santa Caper and they have been working hard learning their parts. Be sure to stop over to their place and welcome them to the set. It is great to have all them on this production as they bring so much into this project.

Also, a big thank you to Karl for the many hours of writing and rewriting without one complaint, you are the best.

Meet The CCSI II Reindeer

Santa has eight reindeer, who magically pull his sleigh through the sky. They are named Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder and Blitzen. The most famous reindeer used by Santa on those foggy nights is Rudolph. I now want to introduce you to the excellent cast of reindeer starring in the upcoming CCSI: Cat/Canine Crime Scene Investigators - The Santa Caper.

Rudolph - Zoey

Dasher - Willow

Dancer - Adan

Prancer - Sammy

Vixen - Pyewacket

Comet - Tigger

Cupid - Trixie

Donner - Daisy

Blitzen - Pepi

Congratulations to all!

Oh, hey before you head for home go over to Momo's because she has a link where you can take a quiz to see which of Santa's reindeer you would be. I am so excited because I would be Rudolph! You can get to Momo's from my place: http://momoandco.blogspot.com/

Meet The CCSI II Director-Ruis

An Autobiography - Ruis

At November 26th 1998 I was born in Leiden, the Netherlands. After 16 weeks with my mom Aida, my brothers and sisters I went to my forever home at Marlene.

As kitten and young mancat I always wanted to be a circus acrobat, but after I fell more than 3 meters down I knew that was clearly not my vocation, my calling. Since then I am an all-round Public Relation specialist for my own species and Cornish Rex cats in particular. Six weeks ago my work has been extended as I am also first reporter of our weblog.

Being a director is new to me, but I have seen so many television shows that I hope they will help me make the right decisions. I also used to live and work in a big cat group and with dogs, I think that makes me communicate easy with the actors. My disadvantage is that English is not my 1st language, but with some extra paws and body language I can communicate as effectively as with words.

I look forward to work with you all!!

Ruis

Meet The CCSI II Writer- Karl

An Autobiography - Karl From The Cat Realm

My childhood was good. I learned early that humans are fabulous creatures and to this day I am a real people-cat.

Unfortunate events put me out in the streets and for a while I lived the homeless life until I found my current forever home.

Needless to say – I never got any formal training in writing, or any other academic field, for that matter.

My staff are both artists and they started teaching me some things. The stained glass work didn’t turn out so well but I really enjoyed illustrating and together with Anastasia produced a couple of picture booklets. (They will be up for sale soon)

After that I dabbled in the study of lizard behavior for a while which ended in complete disaster as none of my study objects ever lived long enough to provide me with sufficient data. Except when the butler got to them first but that meant that they were removed so they might have lived long enough but I couldn’t gather any data either…

Then I participated in a local playwriting event – I am not keen on talking about it too much. For one thing my play didn’t make it to the finals, for another the event was sponsored by the local chapter of Rabbits for Art.
Yes. I know…

Emil inspired me to tackle the field of kittens books, and I am in the progress of writing an illustrated kittens book, grades 2 to 6.

Then came the call for scripts for an episode of CCSI, the hottest show on the Blogosphere and I really got rolling… I already have an idea for yet another CCSI episode….

And last but not least: I am an accomplished human trainer.

Through this magic corn, the reindeer's strength is increased to three times normal, their stamina in increased to infinity, and their hoofs can use the air as if it were solid ground. This means that the normal reindeer of nine can pull a sleigh full of toys up to 13,500 pounds for an unlimited amount of time.

The script written by Karl at The Cat Relm promises to be a mystery with many turns and questions that need answering. Will the crime be solved, what is the crime, where did it happen, who did it, was an elf involved, perhaps a reindeer, or someone really close to the victim, maybe something didn't happen at all?

I do want to personally thank Karl for the wonderful script for this CCSI episode, magnificent! Also, a thank you to Ruis for helping with the casting and making the necessary decisions that are needed to make this a most thrilling mystery. Thanks to the actor/actress that will be working with me so closely in the next few weeks. And the many others that will be working on graphic design/photography and helping me with the production of The Santa Caper. Without all of your help there would not be a CCSI.

CCSI Review!

Written by Samantha Black, Staff Reporter on The Tuxedo Gang Hideout Blog and a Repurrter for the Cat Blogosphere

The highly anticipated 2 Part Pilot Premier of CCSI:Cat & Canine Crime Scene Investigators:
The Kidnapped Kitty Caper shown at Sassy Tales gets an 8 paw salute from this reporter. It was well written by Opus and Roscoe from Cat Naps in Italy. Due to a writers strike in Hollywood Sassy Cat suggested that the Cats could write their own series and CCSI was born. It was exciting and cleverly plotted. They made you think one way and the ending was first rate. I will not give it away in case you haven't seen it. The Production, the Art Direction, The Direction and all the Actors made it a wonderful start to a series I believe will go on to be one of the best in the Cat Blogworld and beyond. Bravo! Bravo! to Sassy Cat, Opus and Roscoe, Ruis, Baroness Momo Cat, Latte, Daisy, Asta, Momo Doggie, Maggy and Zoey and Tigger. You all did an excellent job! To any one who hasn't seen the Premiere, I highly recommend you go over to Sassy Tales and watch it right now.

Awards

Little 'ole me has three awards!

Who would have thought that a little ole' me would have an award given to me? That is such great news but even better than that is getting THREE!

I have had the honor of being presented by Miss Daisy the Your Blog Of The Month award. She gave me this because of my work with CCSI: Cat/Canine Crime Scene Investigators. I was so happy to receive this award and will proudly display it on my blog page along with my other two.

The second award I received was BTB- Be The Blog presented to me by Momo-dogie. This award is given to a blogger making their posts interactive with the readers and just having fun. I am so touched that Momo gave me this award and I treasure it so much. Momo is a wonderful dogie and one of the first blogger friends that I met when I first started back in October.

My third award was given to me from the gang at Jans Funny Farm. They gave me the I'm A Bloggin' Princess Award because I did a great job of giving out of work cat/dog actors jobs on my movie CCSI during the writers strike. I appreciate this award so much and want to thank the whole gang over at Jan's; Buddy, Cameron, Cotton, Crystal, Cyndi, Merci, Percy, Rusty, & Samaritan for this honor. I hope all of my friends will stop over to their place at http://jansfunnyfarm.blogspot.com/and introduce yourself, be sure to tell them that Sassy sent you over. With all of those brothers and sisters I bet they have a lot of fun over there.

Now for the fun part, passing the awards on to someone else.

I am passing on the Your Blog Of The Month award to Opus & Roscoe because of the many adventures they have in their posts and sometimes you can go along with them for some fun adventures. Also, I would like to mention that without those two we would not have had the CCSI: Cat/Canine Crime Scene Investigators. Their creative writing and the countless hours of work that they put into making the photos was done to perfection, making CCSI a success.

I would like to give the BTB -Be The Blog award to Momo the cat . Even though Momo has received this award from someone else I am still going to pass it to her, maybe she could use the award for the December awards? Momo is one of the first contacts I made when I first started out blogging. She has given me the courage to continue with my posts when at one point I almost gave up. She invited me to have a picnic with her and some of her friends at the university her mom attends. It was such a fun day on the picnic and that visit made it possible for me to meet some of her friends. Momo is a good and caring friend and deserving of this award.

I want to pass along to Miss Peach the I'm A Bloggin' Princess Award. Even when she was ill her caring for others never stopped, she would still stop by and check in. She has the most beautiful pictures in her posts, along with stories of tea parties, or a little history lesson, there is always something interesting and entertaining. I hope you enjoy this award.

I decided to wait until CCSI had its final showing until I posted about my awards. I didn't want the my award announcement to get lost among the CCSI excitement. Thanks again to Daisy, Momo dogie, and the gang at Jans Funny Farm for the awards you have given me.

CCSI: The Pilot Part II

The Kidnapped Kitty Caper: Part Two

When I arrived at the docks, I found a large shipyard. There were boats everywhere, some loading cargo, some unloading cargo, others on dry land resting on wooden planks. As I walked toward the water's edge, I noticed a fierce looking dog standing guard. "Excuse me!" I shouted to get his attention. Snarls, the guard dog, approached me cautiously. "What do you want?" he grumbled at me. I introduced myself and then cut straight to the questions. "Do you know this cat?" I asked, holding up the photo of Fluffy.

The doberman rolled his eyes. "Yea, I know that cat," he growled. "She is always running through the shipyard with a fish in her mouth. I have asked her a million times not to cut through here. It's too dangerous with all the humans working," he went on to explain.

"I bet that made you mad when she ignored your request. Dogs never like it when cats don't take orders. Did it make you mad enough to commit murder?"

"Look," Snarls growled again, his lip snarling to reveal sharp, white fangs. "I don't know what you think you know about us dogs, but we get a bad wrap when it comes to feline relations. Just because I am dog, don't mean that I don't like them cats. I never touched a fur on her little head! The last time I saw her was Thursday afternoon; she come running through here with a fish sticking outta her mouth. She jumped up on that there fence. I run over to tell her to be careful, but I guess my bark startled her cause she fell backwards over the fence. By the time I got around to the other side to see if she was alright, she was already gone. Figured she must have scampered on home."

I thanked Mr. Snarls for his help, told him not to leave town and headed back to my office. I now had two suspects, two motives and still no body.

I was almost to my office, lost in thought, when my phone rang. It was a text message from Miss Fistacuffs telling me to get to her house right away. There had been a break in the case.

I arrived at Miss Fistacuff's house only to be greeted by the smiling old woman. "Good news!" she chirped. "They found Fluffy and she is alive!"

Alive? But how? I was sure the poor cat was dead at the hands of an angry fish market man or at the paws of an angry shipyard dog. How could this be?

Miss Fistacuffs went on to explain that Fluffy had fallen from a wall, at the shipyard, only to land in a shipping container. That container was on a boat heading to France. It had arrived just this afternoon and as the crew was unloading the container, they heard a weak meow coming from inside. There they found Fluffy, hungry and thirsty, but perfectly safe.

I congratulated Miss Fistacuff on her good news and said good bye, happy to know that at that moment Fluffy, the missing cat, was on a plane headed back home. In just a few more hours, she and Miss Fistacuffs would be reunited again.

Just another ordinary day of a CCSI detective.

Case closed.
