She's Here!

Momo is here at my place! She will be spending all of July with me and part of August. You see her SS is residing in NW Xinjiang, China SS doing survey work related to her field of study and will be gone most of this summer.

Not wanting Momo to be all along for such a long time I suggested that she spend part of her summer with me. Before Momo came to my place she was at Sock, Charybdis, and Scylla's place for awhile having some fun time over there.



After I picked Momo up at the train station we headed back to my place to catch up on all of the things going on in the world of blogging. We also started planning our next adventure that we will be taking in July. We are going on a trip with the Italians, Opus and Roscoe.



Does this give you a pretty good idea what we might be up to next? The plans are now in the work thanks to our good pals Karl and Ruis.

You might be wondering how Karl and Ruis figure into our safari trip. Let me explain. You see their gift to me for being their wedding planner was the most unexpected, wonderful, and fantastic gifts. They sent me the following:

an Olympus camera, palm pilot, luggage, safari outfit, paid safari trip, and paid for Momo, Opus, and Roscoe to accompany me on this trip too!




Another fantastic gift that will be waiting for me on my return trip from the safari is my very own Klingon captains chair with my name on it! I want to take this time to thank Karl and Ruis for their thoughtfulness and generosity.
