Today there was a visitor at our house. The mom of the house really liked the trespasser because as soon as she saw him/her she smiled and thought how much he/she looked a little like Roscoe. The coloring of the cat was a lot like Roscoe's but the face was very different. We have all been really sad since Roscoe went to the bridge over two weeks ago and I must say it was nice to see the mom of the house smile for a change.
The mom of the house and I think that this young cat was coming by to let us know that Roscoe is fine and everything will be OK time will take care of things. Seeing this cat perked up our day just a little.
The cat didn't stay too long, as soon as the mom was spotted with the camera he/she ran away, just as I usually do. Hate the paparazzi stuff too.

How sweet! I am sure he came by to let you know that Roscoe is fine. Which he is. Which still doesn't make it a lot easier for the ones left behind...
I thought Opus did a wonderful wake for Roscoe, but we all cried a lot here....

Yeah, agree with Karl there. We cry whenever we think of Roscoe or read about him.
I have an appointment with the vet on Friday morning. Purr for me!

What a sweet kitty. We are glad he/she helped you smile again.
He looks like he could be a brother of ours. Except he is a little too young.
We also have a kitten who showed up here just three days afer Roscoe left. A tiny little thing that likes to talk. We hadn't seen him for 9 days, but then on our birthday he showed up again. Like he was just checking in on us. Haven't seen him since.
Rosoce sure is busy sending us all kittens to make us smile. Did you see the one Miss Peach has?

He did look like Roscoe.
Mommy says that sometimes when she is almost asleep Whiskers comes jumps on the foot of the bed and curls up at her feet like he used to do. So who knows maybe Roscoe did come by for a visit. ~S,S & C
