UPDATE-No More Gall

MOTH UPDATE: Monday 9:19 pm

I am happy to report that the mom of the house is doing pretty good considering her operation today. I would like to think that it is due to Opus and myself overseeing the procedure that she had done today. Moth is getting the best of care at home, having been released only 2 l/2 hours after her surgery, and spent most of the day sleeping. She has eaten lightly throughout the day and isn't in too much discomfort, thank goodness for Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Her home care is excellent and she has been spoiled all the day long, as she should be.

My sissie, Asta, stopped by today to bring flowers over. Thanks Asta mom of the house really like getting flowers. She had us put them near her where she can enjoy seeing them all the day.

Opus went out while our patient was asleep and picked up some balloons for her. Thanks so much Opus for being such a sweet caring cat. You always know just the right thing to do.

She also wants to let you know that she appreciates all of your kind words and it makes her feel extra good to know my friends are worried about her and wishing her a quick recovery.

Monday is going to be a first of all firsts for Opus and myself. You see the MOTH, mom of the house, is having minor surgery. To make a long story short after her surgery no one can ever say that she has a lot of gall, as the gallbladder will be a thing of the past. I have been told that the surgery is fairly simple, as far as those things go, and the work will be done as an in out patient . . .

. . . with her facing this I couldn't let her be trusted into the hands of strangers so Opus and I will be overseeing the procedure. Opus and I have been reading up on this since last week sometime and are assisting in the operating room and overseeing her home care.

The Cat Realm sent this beautiful get well card to MOTH, I know this will cheer her up and make her feel better. Thanks guys.

My sissie, Momo sent over a beautiful photo of her with a nice greeting for a quick recovery. Thanks sissie.

Waiting for MOTH when she gets back home to recover is a beautiful basket of flowers sent over by Jan's Funny Farm gang. Thanks so much JFF this will certainly help her feel better.

Not sure if this is my nursing outfit or Halloween outfit. I hope this doesn't make her laugh so much that she pulls her stitches.

I will not be able to visit for several days as I will certainly be busy here but you can be sure I will be around to celebrate Halloween, even if she isn't feeling good, ha, ha, ha. I mean I hope she is recovered well enough that I can leave and have some trick or treat time.

Please think good thoughts for MOTH that she makes a speedy recovery.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA - o.k. - maybe not a laughing matter - but that costume of yours Sassy, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHA!
The MOTH (Mrs. OZ says she wants to eat her as she loves moth's, hahahahahaha) will be fine - too bad she doesn't have to stay at the hospital a bit so we could trash the house, hahahahahahahahaha.
Nevertheless - we will be purring without end!
Keep us updated as much as you can!

Oh, Sassy, you must wear that outfit for Halloween! We're sure it will cheer up your MotH after her surgery. Just thinking of you in that outfit could make her pop her stitches. Don't get us wrong. You look adorable. But we've never seen a nurse's uniform like that before.

We are purring for your MotH. But we know you and Opus will keep a good eye on the surgeon.

Gallbladder operation? Hope your mom feels better soon! What do gall bladders do anyway?

Hope all goes well for the MOTH. I will be purring my hardest. Well, Sassy, you do look very sassy in that uniform. In fact, much better than any of those nurses at the hospital that SS's aunt is in at present.

We are purring that MOTH makes a speedy recovery. Our Daddy had gallbladder surgery years ago and Mommy reports that he was out working on the car the next day. He is a very BAD patient and we weren't around to bite him back then. Obviously our Mom is not a good nurse. We are sure you and Opus will do a much better job of seeing that MOTH follows instructions. ~S,S & C

Sassy! your costume is great! i think your mommy would prefer just your warm furs, but certainly those single Mancats out there may need some resusitation after that photo.

many healing purrs and prayers to your MOTH. we know she will be just fine.

Hoping your MOTH is feeling much better soon. My Mom had the same operation - except as an emergency when it became infected and she was very ill. She said your MOTH will need to take it easy for a week - be spoiled lots and waited on hand and foot (or paw!). She said that she suspects your MOTH will be "well rid of her troublesome Gallbladder!" - my Mom certainly was relieved to be rid of hers.

SEnding tons of purrs for the surgery to go well and for a quick recovery!

Take good care of yourself MOTH... and hey, you didn't need the gall anyways.
Just be sure that all those nurses and doctors we see here tending to you do not leave any fur behind inside, no tails, no whiskers, no pawprints! You never know... nowadays they take away one thing, and leave something else in it's place.
