Welome to my first open house Halloween party. It is so nice of you to stop by, please stay as long as you like. Let me offer you a little direction as to what is happening.
Hors d' oeuvres are located in the dining room, to the left of the foyer.
A variety awaits you, please help yourself. Don't be shy, dig right in, have as much as you like.
Go back for seconds, there's plenty.
Note: The following snack is for adults only as cat nip was used as one of the cooking spices. Any cat having more than two of these must have a designated driver to get you home. I am relying on the honor system.
All drinks are non-alcoholic and you will find them in the kitchen on the counter.
If you see that I'm running out of glasses please let me know so I can put more out.
There are four different games for you to play. Participate in as many as you want. There are no winners or losers just some good fun.
Game 1 - Find the hidden mouse.
Game 2 - Count the number of mice in the jar
Game 3 - Bat a ball of yarn to see who can hit it the farthest
Game 4 - Who can jump the highest
Those of you in costume may have a parade if you would like to do so.
Out on the patio you will be entertained with music for dancing. Also, in the back yard you will want be sure to visit the fine art sculptures, made by a local artist for your viewing pleasure.
The first guest to arrive, the last guest to leave, and best costume will be featured in a post by me. A re-cap of the party will be posted on my blog this coming week along with pictures of the winners and of those who attended the party. If you do not want your picture to appear in my post please let me know otherwise your photo will appear.
When you leave be sure to pick up your party favor bag to take home with you. Keep an eye on it as I cannot be responsible if it should get lost.

Hey, Sassy! Am I the first to arrive???? I have been reminding SS for the last 48 hours. I am brushed and have my party bow on. All ready to go! What wonderful food you have for us. I will try the yarn ball game first - my favourite. I can't jump too high these days. SS says I can stay while she works at the uni and will come back for me later in the day.

Not sure if you have noticed but all Aussiecats - the Topcatrules trio and I turn up extra EARLY for parties. So nice of you to open doors at unsociable hours so that we can attend!
Having great fun. Momo-dog and I decide to party on a bit longer since we haven't been together at the same party ever. Well, there is a Momo-owl, too. But she is not a blogger and therefore has no access to this teleport medium.

I made it to another party! Thanks for the invitation you hip cats! I hope that there is some food left! I bring you all caviar dreams - I know how cats like caviar - and catnip wishes! I'll refrain from using the litter box, though, if you don't mind. I'll just go outside and find a bush or something...if the need arises!

How you do you like our costumes? I wanted to go as the Romans, Cesare and Mark Anthony, but Roscoe wanted to dress up like Colts fans. Guess who won the mouse toss!

Looks like all the kitties from down under are raging while those from the north are still snoozing. Never mind. Sassy did say we could stay for as long as we like and there are plenty of food left for everyone!

Yep, Roscoe and Opus, you forget that we in Oz are far ahead of you, even in Italy. So we came by our time on Sunday. The southern contingent including a woofie from Sydney partied on regardless. Of course, being the ever considerate hostess Sassy opened her house extra early to accommodate us. Thanks, Sassy!

Glad everyone is having a good time. I cannot tell you the correct count of mice in a jar as there might be late arrivals, we still have the rest of the day to party on. Thanks Opus and Roscoe for keeping the drinks flowing in kitchen.
I am so happy that Momo is having such a good time, and a few friends invited along their friends. You can never have too many at a party.

Yawn! Oh my goodness, is it Monday morning? Uh oh, it is 7am in Italy, our human isn't gonna be happy that we were out all night.
We aren't sure what happened, but when Roscoe and I woke up we were in bathtub! Thank goodness there wasn't any water in it! Better get back to Italy before the humans notice we are still gone!
