Opus, on the right, and Roscoe, on the left, are a pair of domestic short hair felines. The two brothers were born in 1995 on a farm in the USA. They have never been separated and the brothers are the closest to each other, they do almost everything together. They moved from America to Italy three years ago on November 3. They like to tell their friends that they were ripped from the heartland of America, stuffed into a plane, and forced to spend their days sleeping in beautiful Italy. I don't think they liked the plane part of the trip but from reading their posts I believe that they are enjoying their new life across the big waters.
The brothers are strictly indoor cats but enjoy spending sunny afternoons on the second floor terrace. Their interests include sleeping, eating, chasing flies, blogging, snoozing in front of the heater, and sitting on a human's lap, or sleeping on a lap.
Opus, typing, and Roscoe, dictating, working on a new post for their blog.

Opus and Roscoe have been blogging since September 2005. They have had many adventures in the short amount of time spent in Italy and have met many wonderful friends in the blogging world.
Special blogging friend Derby
Opus and Roscoe both like to go to parties and have parties of their own. Costume parties seem to be a favorite of theirs to attend. At my Halloween party they came dressed to party and had the honor of best costume.
Another special recognition given to them for attending the party was last to leave. No one seems to know exactly what happened but the two of them ended up spending the night in my bathtub. They were a little embarrassed about this, but hey things happen. What happens at the party stays at the party. But if anyone knows what really happened you can e mail them to let them know, I think they would like to find out what happened.
An outing with the new Italian father.
Opus and Roscoe will be celebrating the third anniversary of their arrival to Italy on Sunday. Stop by their place and let them know that even though they are so far away from their home in the United States we enjoy all of their adventures that they share in Italy.

On my next post I will have pictures of the other costumes that were worn at the party and a list of the party friends.

Wow Sassy! Thanks for the nice write up! You sure do know a lot about your friends! We had such a great time at your party, can't wait to do it again. We still don't know how we ended up in the bathtub, but we think we it might have something to do with all of the cat nip we had!
You have to remember, there is no cat nip in Italy, so it had been a while!
Hugs from the boot!
Love,
Opus and Roscoe
I recently met Opus and Roscoe, and I like them lots. Because they are very nice, and cute, too.
Opus & Roscoe-Glad you liked my post. Hope to see you at Brandi's party tomorrow.
Daisy-You are right Opus & Roscoe are nice, they are good to have for a friend. See you tomorrow at Brandi's party?
Nice one on Opus and Roscoe. I think we should bring them some catnip since they don't have them in Italy, don't you? Not easy to get in Australia as well but we manage.
