CCSI: The Pilot Part II

The Kidnapped Kitty Caper: Part Two

When I arrived at the docks, I found a large shipyard. There were boats everywhere, some loading cargo, some unloading cargo, others on dry land resting on wooden planks. As I walked toward the water's edge, I noticed a fierce looking dog standing guard. "Excuse me!" I shouted to get his attention. Snarls, the guard dog, approached me cautiously. "What do you want?" he grumbled at me. I introduced myself and then cut straight to the questions. "Do you know this cat?" I asked, holding up the photo of Fluffy.

The doberman rolled his eyes. "Yea, I know that cat," he growled. "She is always running through the shipyard with a fish in her mouth. I have asked her a million times not to cut through here. It's too dangerous with all the humans working," he went on to explain.

"I bet that made you mad when she ignored your request. Dogs never like it when cats don't take orders. Did it make you mad enough to commit murder?"

"Look," Snarls growled again, his lip snarling to reveal sharp, white fangs. "I don't know what you think you know about us dogs, but we get a bad wrap when it comes to feline relations. Just because I am dog, don't mean that I don't like them cats. I never touched a fur on her little head! The last time I saw her was Thursday afternoon; she come running through here with a fish sticking outta her mouth. She jumped up on that there fence. I run over to tell her to be careful, but I guess my bark startled her cause she fell backwards over the fence. By the time I got around to the other side to see if she was alright, she was already gone. Figured she must have scampered on home."

I thanked Mr. Snarls for his help, told him not to leave town and headed back to my office. I now had two suspects, two motives and still no body.

I was almost to my office, lost in thought, when my phone rang. It was a text message from Miss Fistacuffs telling me to get to her house right away. There had been a break in the case.

I arrived at Miss Fistacuff's house only to be greeted by the smiling old woman. "Good news!" she chirped. "They found Fluffy and she is alive!"

Alive? But how? I was sure the poor cat was dead at the hands of an angry fish market man or at the paws of an angry shipyard dog. How could this be?

Miss Fistacuffs went on to explain that Fluffy had fallen from a wall, at the shipyard, only to land in a shipping container. That container was on a boat heading to France. It had arrived just this afternoon and as the crew was unloading the container, they heard a weak meow coming from inside. There they found Fluffy, hungry and thirsty, but perfectly safe.

I congratulated Miss Fistacuff on her good news and said good bye, happy to know that at that moment Fluffy, the missing cat, was on a plane headed back home. In just a few more hours, she and Miss Fistacuffs would be reunited again.

Just another ordinary day of a CCSI detective.

Case closed.

Just realized that I didn't answer your question about 'word verification'. Yes, I need to type in some words before clicking 'preview/publish' bottom. I've never tried this option but I am glad if this will prevent to receive some nasty comments.

Now I am having a voice training. I wonder if I sound like a good detective. :)

Asta-Yep, it was scary until we found out that the Baroness Momo the Fluff of Dickens St. Charles was safe. Acting can be both fun and scary depending on the part that one is playing. I am glad you had a good time with us on the set.

Momo-thanks, but you know we couldn't have done it without you and the other cast & crew. Thanks for the letter information, that helps me out a lot. If you can put it on your comment section I would highly recommend that you do so. I had to go through each post and delets XXXXrated adds. You cannot imagine the amount of time I spent doing that. But at least now our eyes will be safe!! Yes, I can hear it in your voice, you are a good detective.
Maggy & Zoey-Thanks it sure was fun huh?

Samatha & Tigger-Yes, this was so much fun. I am not sure how to get this on the blogsphere(???) I am still new to the game. Will be looking forward tothe review of the show. Shouldn't need it until Tuesday.

Daisy-I thought you were perfect for your part and am so happy that you had such a great time. Be sure to give Opus & Roscoe for the photos as they were the #1 chief workers on that part of CCSI.

Zippy, Sadie and Speedy-Boy you got the cat part right. I say the only good cat is a happy cat huh? Glad you liked it.

So glad that everyone liked the story. The cast was great, the crew was wonderful and everyone was fun to work with.

Keep in mind that Sassy will be needing more scripts. So put your thinking caps on and come up with the next episode.

Don't worry about having tons of photos. We just got carried away becuase it was the first show.

Thanks to everyone who involved and a speical thanks to our producer, Sassy, who came up with script writing project.

So, who is gonna do the NEXT show?

Eric & Flynn-So glad that ya liked the show.

Scooby, Shaggy & Scout-Ha, ya did guess the ending. They Opus & Roscoe did their job as wonderful writers.

Cheysuli- I too was happy that the Baroness Momo was not killed. It looked like she might get a nice short vacation in France though.

Momo-Thanks, I am so happy your character didn't meet with an untimely death. We will be looking in the future for more actors, photographers, etc. The most important thing right now is finding the next script. Everyone needs to put on their thinking cap, as Opus & Roscoe says, and start on the next story. I think our stories will have to be done on a monthly schedule.

Opus & Roscoe-This show would not have been one if it wasn't for the great story line you two came up with. You guys should publish a book or something. And the photos were beyond words!!!!!! They were the icing on the cake, a million thanks to you two!!!!!!!!!

Lacy-So glad ya liked the show and yep ya are right, stay away from shipping boxes if ya are in a shipping yard.

Mickey-You are right on, I cannot wait until I see what story is next. We need some writers to come up with stories. They can be sent to my e-mail address. I think I will put a call out for another story and give a whole week for the writers to do their thing..

Even for me as director the conclusion is surprising when I see it!:) And of course we wanted to get Fluffy be alive and safe!!

Sassy, you started this show and the pilot was a GREAT success. There is no "back button" for this. You, we and all have to continue CCSI!

Thanks for all!:)

A big thank you to my two writers, withouth them we would not have had this exciting show with a twist in the ending. The actors were the best bringing to their part their own unique quality. This show was tops!!

To the viewers thank you for tunning in, without you to watch the show there would have been no need to prodce one.

Thanks to all! Now on to the next project, I need a story. Start sending them
