An Autobiography - Karl From The Cat Realm
My childhood was good. I learned early that humans are fabulous creatures and to this day I am a real people-cat.
Unfortunate events put me out in the streets and for a while I lived the homeless life until I found my current forever home.
Needless to say – I never got any formal training in writing, or any other academic field, for that matter.
My staff are both artists and they started teaching me some things. The stained glass work didn’t turn out so well but I really enjoyed illustrating and together with Anastasia produced a couple of picture booklets. (They will be up for sale soon)
After that I dabbled in the study of lizard behavior for a while which ended in complete disaster as none of my study objects ever lived long enough to provide me with sufficient data. Except when the butler got to them first but that meant that they were removed so they might have lived long enough but I couldn’t gather any data either…
Then I participated in a local playwriting event – I am not keen on talking about it too much. For one thing my play didn’t make it to the finals, for another the event was sponsored by the local chapter of Rabbits for Art.
Yes. I know…
Emil inspired me to tackle the field of kittens books, and I am in the progress of writing an illustrated kittens book, grades 2 to 6.
Then came the call for scripts for an episode of CCSI, the hottest show on the Blogosphere and I really got rolling… I already have an idea for yet another CCSI episode….
And last but not least: I am an accomplished human trainer.

Oh, I think an illustrated kittens book would be fantastic!
Hi!
No, I'm not Resting, I'm Siamese...
This morning I got my mother up at 5.30 as usual. It's important to get her up 45 minutes before the alarm, so she doesn't get complacent. And no, I don't CARE if it's the thing called WEEDEND two days a week. She has to get up early then too!
Then I played thundering herds of elephants with Trixie. I get her to run off some fo the fat and it's alo very exciting 'cause he deosn't like me very much, so you nevr quite know how it will turn out!
Karl is such a cool cat!
I knew that Karl was an accomplished cat but this is beyond my wildest imagination. Wow!
Hey, Sassy that's a very good write up. You should go into biographic writing.
Karl - you are a true star. I am sure your script will be the stuff college kids study in years to come. Shakespeare didn't find fame overnight you know!!
Can't wait to see the finished project x
Asta-I couldn't do all of these things without the help of everycat/dog involved with CCSI. It has been so much fun meeting all and getting to know each other better. Thanks to your mom, I will get things to her asap.
Daisy-Yes, I want to buy a book I must see if Karl with autograph it for me.
Trixie & Pye-Ya are so funny. When things settle down I sure would like to come over and visit for a whole day. Wouldn't that be fun. Hey what's up with Tigger the FBI cat????? Haven't seen her in awhile.
Cpt. Jack & Dante-Ya sure got that right.
Momo-Yep, Karl is a load of talent, did ya know that he wrote the bio???? Pretty good with the words huh? Hey, that is why we have such a great CCSI II script!
Yao-lin-Ya are going to be so surprised with this story, it has more twists in it than a pretzel.
Here I thought you researched into his site and wrote it! Definite talent in there.
Momo-Nope, I wanted Karl to tell us about himself in his own words. Thought he did a fantastic job.
Wow, Karl has a very impressive biography! He is a fine, fine mancat and such a good friend.
Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn!
Oh, and I wanted to say, I am very excited about the upcoming episode of CCSI! Us Ballicai were too late to audition -- rats! -- but hopefully we'll be able to audition for a future episode!
More purrs and snuggles to you, my friend!
Marilyn MonREOW-Will make a note to let ya know when the next CCSI III will be having casting calls. Won't be until after the holidays. Souldn't be a problem getting ya into a show.
Hi Sassy! Sorry you are having trouble sending e-mails to me. We can do some reindeer scenes! My e-mail address is:
daisythecurlycatDOTbellsouthDOTnet
Daisy-Thanks for getting back to me. I am going now over to the e-mail office and send something over to ya just to see if it goes through.
Yep, that Karl sure can write. We can't wait to find out all the twists and turns.
Jan's Funny Farm
Karl, you are one impressive cat. Gemini is very lucky to be working with a writer of your caliber!
My Karl is sooooo talented!!
I sent you 2 emails, Sassy, so I hope they don't come in the big black hole called internet.;) Our meeting last night was great, talking face-to-face works the best! I hired the meeting room for the entire CCSI time.:)
Jan-You are in for many surprises.
Cheysuli-You said it, Karl is great!!!
Ruis-I think that chat room works best too, still trying to send e-mail to Daisy and if comes back even though I have the correct address, says it is taking too long to forward or something????? Knew ya would like my post today. Karl is one of a kind!
Wonderful having ya all come over and find out about Karl. I have to add my comments about Karl. He is a dear, talented, and one I would like to call my friend. He goes out of the way to make working on CCSI II something to look forward to each day. As we continue this journey together I see his caring in making the actors/actress happy in their roles and is never upset when a rewrite has to be done. He is A OK. Looking forward to the time we spend together on the set. Thanks Karl.
I believe Karl will be the best cat writer~!!!
Adan-Ya could be right.
Sassy, what a great idea to post an autobiography of Karl then Ruis!!
Karl is so talented and also cool kitty!!
Momo xoxo
Momo & Pinot-Thanks ya two, I thought it would be nice to feature the crew, that way ya all can get to know each of them a little better.
