Dear Friends

Post card designed by Opus & Roscoe

Dear Pawfriends,

I have been thinking of you all as I have been enjoying some quiet, and not so quiet moments, while I snuck down to the sunshine state called Florida. This has been quite fun and I am so glad I broke out of the cold weather at home and came down here unbeknown to the mom and dad of the house. What happens in Florida stays in Florida.

Today I am planning on just crashing at the pool for a long, long time and I want to extend an invitation to all of you who want to join me to come on over. Don't feel like you need to bring anything as the pool rules won't allow it. They have showers there, towels, chairs, tables, and lounge chairs. You will find the pool water to be at 80 degrees, outside temperatures almost 80, and a beautiful sunny sky with no clouds in it. Inside you will find a hot tub at a boiling 104 degrees; though that sounds too hot it really feels good on those tired old muscles. For those of you that want to have a little more excitement, the pool is next to a golf course so you could play a round of gold or chase some of those feathered friends who like to hang out there.

I hope to see you all soon for a relaxing quiet day filled with visiting with each of you.

Love to all,
Sassy

ps I have some secret information that I found out while staying in Florida. I cannot tell you at this time but Momo cat and I will fill you in later about it.

Hey, Sassy, We love your new hat. Very festive.

Jan said we can all come to the pool with you today. It's raining here so we can't wait to get there and relax in that nice warm water.

We're on our way.

Ooops. Slight delay. Samaritan has a thin coat and fair skin. Jan is putting sunblock on him before he leaves. (She doesn't trust him to remember to do it for himself. He's young and doesn't think anything could happen.) Okay, she's done. Here we come.

Asta-So glad ya are coming over. We will have a blast.

Jan's Gang-So glad ya are all here, ya are all such a fun group!!!! I bet Jan is lonely at her place by herself.

Blogger ate my comment again. Oh, well.

It has been lonely around here today without my furry friends, but I went out and had a long leisurely lunch with a couple of my own friends, so the day is passing quickly.

I'm glad all of you are having such a good time.

But please ask Samaritan not to borrow your cell phone again and call home to yell YIPPPPPEEEEEE!! in my ear. Evidently he doesn't realize he has grown into a big boy with a loud vocal range.

Jan,

Now you have me intrigued... I wonder what all is going on... and here I am, stuck in the rain!

Sassy Cat said...

Jan-Tought it would be so quiet at your place. None of us brought a cell phone along today; we just wanted to be alone and not have the phone ringin in our ears.

Chrysuli & Gemini-Hey come on down, get out of the rain; we are still here.

Jan said...

Hmmmm. If you didn't loan Samaritan a cell phone, who did?

Here I am! Just back from visiting Pablo in Hobart and a pool is just perfect for today. I have my sun hat but no glasses - Karl might just have a spare pair. He has so many!

Oh my gosh! A florida secret! I can't wait to find out what it is.

You look so comfy. I'm on my way for those nice Florida sunbeams. It is so icky and dreary here.

I love that new hat of yours!

Hi, Mr H! Glad you made it to sunny, warm Florida. It's a wonder why the whole of the population from the northern states of the USA hasn't converged here. SS's brother who lives in Colorado keeps saying how cold it is there but never budges.

Sassy Cat said...

Jan-I'm not sure, I'll try and check things out.

Momo & Pinot-Ya can be here, just post a comment and ya are here. Wait a minute ya are here!

Momo-I bet Karl does have some extra sunglasses. This is a blast, I hope ya are havin as much fun as I am.

Mr. Hendrix-I am so glad that ya are here. Just pull up a chair or jump into the pool the water is 83 degrees.

Oh, Sassy dear, thank you so much for the invite! I am here, and oh, I am loving this warmth! It feels so good. I've brought some sunblock for my pink nose and my pink ears, and I have also brought my red, blingy sunglasses! *smile*

This is just lovely... ahhhhhh. And I can't wait to find out your secret!

Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn.

Hi Marilyn, nice to see you here. Good thing you brought sun screen to protect you from the harsh sun. Don't want you to ruin that beautiful pale and pink skin of yours or have anything nasty developing in years to come.

Sassy Cat said...

Marilyn-I am so glad that ya are here. Maybe ya will want to sit in the shade so the sun doesn't get ya.

Momo-I cannot believe how much fun we are having with our friends. This sure is a fun idea. Don't let me forget that soon I will need to head for home.

Jan said...

Thanks for checking to see everyone got home okay. It's good to have them all home again. They must have had a great time. They're all sacked out.
