CCSI: The Pilot Part I

The Kidnapped Kitty Caper

Part One

Detective Gil Fishham here, senior detective for the New York City CCSI: Cat & Canine Crime Scene Investigation.

One warm spring afternoon, I was called to the house of Miss Fistacuffs on the report of a missing cat. The elderly woman met me at the door, visibly upset. "Baroness Momo the Fluff of Dicken St Charles is gone," she said with tears running down her wrinkled face. "You must help me find her. I live alone and Fluffy is the only friend I have."

I proceeded to ask Miss Fistacuffs a series of questions: "Where did you last see Fluffy? Was it normal for her to come up missing for a few days? Does she have any enemies who would like to see him dead?" Miss Fistacuffs went on to tell me that Fluffy was last seen walking toward the shore, that she never stayed out after dark and, she assured me, that a sweet cat like Fluffy most certainly had no enemies.

I was lost and didn't know where to start. What I had was a missing cat. What I didn't have was a suspect, a motive, or even a body. I started off for the shore thinking that the fish market would be the a good place to start looking for a missing cat.

When I arrived at the fish market, I noticed a group of young sailors standing outside. I stopped them, showed them a photo of Fluffy, and asked if any of them had seen the feline. After taking a long hard look at the picture, the young sailors assured me that they hadn't seen the cat around, but suggested I go inside and ask the guy who is at the market everyday, Mr. Pesce, the fish market man.

I went inside the market and approached a burly looking man with a thick, black moustache who was standing behind the fish counter. Showing him the photo of Fluffy I asked, "Have you ever seen this cat around the market?" Scowling at the photo he answered, "Oh her. Yeah, I know that sneaky cat." He went on to tell me that Fluffy showed up at his stand several times a week, always trying to--and often succeeding in--stealing a fish.

"So you didn't like the cat?" I asked.

"What do you think?" he responded. "She was always trying to steal from me!"

"Did you hate her enough to commit MURDER?" I pressed.

Mr. Pesce's face softened. "Look," he went on, "I didn't like the cat, but the only critters I kill are the ones that come from the sea."

I went on to ask if he recalled seeing Fluffy on Thursday afternoon, the day she disappeared. After giving the question some thought he answered, "Yeah. The little rat stole one of my fish and took off running toward the docks."

I thanked him for his time, warned him not the leave the city, and started off toward the docks. I now had a suspect and a motive, it was time to go and find the body.

Part II - Tomorrow airing at 11:00 am

I want to welcome you all to the premimere of CCSI and hope you will all enjoy the show and have a good time.
I want to give a special thank you to our writers Opus & Roscoe for without them this show would not be airing today. There are not enough words to express how much I appreciate all that they have brought to this production. Thanks you so much guys!!

Can you guess "who done it"?

Oh, I almost forgot we are looking for more two reviewers to critque our show and do a write up on their blog for us. We have one reviewer and are asking if anyone is interested? Please leave a message and we will have the first two that agree to do this be our choice. Thank you.

Sassy Kat said...

also want to thank some of the other staff, Ruis our director, Opus and Roscoe for their digital enhancement photos that will add so much to the story line. A big thank you to Miss Daisy & Asta for their character photos, and Maggy & Zoey for their pre & post CCSI photos.
Last but not least our cast Miss Daisy, Latte, Momo, Tigger, Asta, Ruis, Simba, Momo doggie, Maggy & Zoey, who have put in long hours learning their lines and always willing to put in a few extra hours required in learning their parts.
There are complimentary refresements for your enjoyment. Sit back and relax as we present the first showing of CCIS: Cat/Canine Crime Investigator Scene.
I also would like to put the call out for a new story line. The deadline for this will be this coming Wednesday. Manuscripts received after this day will be held over for another week. We also want to mention that due to the difficulty in a production this large CCIS will not be able to produce at a weekly schedule but will be airing monthly. The time and dates of future airing will be announced at a later.

Sassy Cat, we loved the show!! It was wonderful and we can hardly wait until tomorrow for Part 2! All our furiends were here and loved it, too. You did a wonderful job on Production and Opus and Roscoe wrote a fantastic script! Can Samantha be a reviewer or is that considered biased because I am in it?
Your FL furiends,

Sorry, we messed up our comment so we rewrote it and deleted the first one.

Sassy, where are the rest of the comments? I miss mine?

(you can delete this one;)

Angel MoMo and Charlotte said...

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou to Sassy, Italian writers, Opus and Roscoe, the technical staff and the restof the cast for making this show a reality and hopefully a success. Thankyou for the lovely gift basket. I am so excited and hope someone could solve the mystery of missing 'me'.

Sassy Kat said...

Sophie-Will put you on the cast call list. You never know when a part opens up that you could fill.

Beezer-Thank you, two paws up. Wow. I amso glad that you enjoyed the show. May we use your comments for our review post?

Asta, Asta, Asta-What can I say??? You were the perfect actor to work with and oh so professional. I hope that we get to work together again soon.

Samatha & Tigger-It was so much fun working with Tigger on this production, hope we work again together. Of course Samatha can be a reviewer. You must, however, promise to be fair in your review. If you want to keep your review private until I post it you can send it into my e-mail address.

Ruis-Oh so much fun we had working together! I am not sure where everyone is, I am hoping that they liked things so much that they are still watching the rerun. I don't want to think that maybe this wasn't a good idea and they are all off together discussing how things should of been. I won't delete your comment because your picture will go away and I like to see your photo.

Still need one more reviewer.

Daisy said...

Hmm, I left a comment. Where did it go? Another big mystery! I'm glad I came back because I wanted to tell you that I LOVED the show. Fantastic writing, and an incredible plot. I cannot wait for tomorrow to find out who done it!

Sassy Kat said...

Momo-You must have stopped by as I was typing my comments as I seemd to have just missed you. It was so much fun working with you and I think that it is so neat that still at this time you don't even know what happened to you. I am glad that you liked your gift basket. Plenty in it huh?

Sassy Kat said...

Daisy-Glad you stopped back, I did not see that you were here on this post today being down on the set and everything. You were on yesterdays though. I would never delete a post from our sweet sweet Daisy. You did such a great job on the show, always the professional. Get plenty of sleep as tomorrow is another day on the set. Am requiring all actors to be here in case we need any stand ins.

Angel MoMo and Charlotte said...

This is such fun. I so enjoy being in the show although I haven't done much except for being 'missing' and be the center of attention.

Sassy Kat said...

Momo-The center of attention is good huh? You were perfect for the part. Let's so back in and watch the rerun again.

Daisy said...

I am going to watch one rerun and then it's off to bed for me so I will be fresh for tomorrow!

Daisy said...

Ps: Sassy! Sassy! I gave you an award! Come to my page to see.

MISS PEACH ~(^.^)~ said...

Sassy dear! I think you have done a wonderfur job with this production and my Victorian hat is off to you and all the wonderful talented cast and the hard working staff! I can not wait for the rest of the story!
I hope you do not think me too ungracious of a kitty for taking such a long time to return your visit. You can only imagine how happy I was to see you come cheer me on while I was so very sick. Mommy was heartbroken and thought for sure I would not regain any of my spirit and was prepared for the worst. But I was worth a small miracle. With your purrrayers and some good medicine, I have regained my strength day by day. Mommy would not have made it through her worries about me without your comfort. Each night we keep you in our prayers and wish you endless Blessings this Thanksgiving season.
Love and hugs from our house to yours, Miss Peach and the mommy

Sassy Kat said...

Daisy-What a busy day you have had and another one tomorrow. I cannot believe that you had time to get an award for me. I am so honored and touched. I am heading over to your place now to check things out. Thank you.

Sassy Kat said...

Miss Peach-Thank you for the sweet words, you have a special place in my heart, along with your folks. You are such a sweetie and I think of you often. I am glad that you are getting better, I didn't bother you about the CCSI show as I didn't want you to extend yourself and maybe try out for a part before you were stronger. When you are up to it and we have another show in the works I will alert you for a part to try out for that will not require you to work too hard. Thanks you for your kind note. Stop by anytime.

Juno said...

Hello Sassy... It's me again, Momo-dog! I left a few messages today but I got a Blogger message saying my comment was saved for your approval. Hope I didn't leave anything bad to you. :)

Anyways I was very very excited last night and couldn't sleep well but I managed to get up earlier than usual this morning to catch up the premier on live! :) This is great!! I really liked the basket you kindly delivered to me. Iam honoured being part of the team. The script, all crews and cast are great! Thank you, thank you!!

Momo xoxo

Sassy Kat said...

Momo-Of course not, there couldn't be anything you cannot say to me. I have been having blogger problems today, right now I have my third column gone so I moved everything over to the far left. It is a mystery to me. I will try and reboot the puter and see if this will fix things. I just don't know that much about puters. I am so glad you were in our first show, you looked beautiful in your dress. Part II tomorrow, big weekend huh? We will have to all rest up. Keep in touch, I'm going to try to head over to your place if you don't see me there you will know the puter isn't co-operating for me. Again thank you for being such a wonderful actress to work with.

Juno said...

Oh Sassy, thank you. I am happy to know that I didn't say anything stoopid this morning. I just mentioned on Daisy's blog but I had a hard time to leave my comment on her blog this morning. Strange! Blogger is sometime very temperamental.
Anyways, you're awarded by me and guess what? By Daisy's, too! :) You deserve double awards!!!

Momo xoxo

Sassy Kat said...

Momo-Oh, wow, two awards or is it the same award. I cannot believe it. I am not sure I am deserving but thank you so much. Since I am new at this please explain to me what I need to do.

Juno said...

hahaha... Sassy, very true! We missed each other!
You deserve the award. Actually the award I gave you is different from the one Daisy gave you. Even if both of us happen to give you the same award, you deserve to enjoy it! :) If you want, you can pass the award onto your friend. :)
I am sorry to hear that someone left a nasty comment. I can not believe there are some nasty hoomans out there to hurt my friends' feeling. Don't worry about changing the comment option. I don't want you to be hurt by those hooomans!

Momo xoxo

Sassy Kat said...

Momo-The comments were not left to hurt my feelings, come closer to the screen cause I want to whisper what it was about. . . . it was about a product for humans, it wasn't very nice stuff. I didn't want my friends to have to read that x rated stuff.

Sassy Kat said...

Momo-Oh, the award, what does it look like? Do you have a photo of it? This is super!!!

Opus & Roscoe did a marvelous job, as casting directors and even more as writers and art directors! Sassy, as the producer you deserve rewards!! For your hospitality on the set, for making all this happen. Nothing was too much... You're the BEST!!

As for tomorrow 11:00 am, I want to ask you if it's okay when I come later? The staff is partying (Mom Marlene's parents celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary) and they refuse to give me the computer's password. :(

ATTENTION: I have an announcement. I have had to make changes to have letters typed in before comments can be published on this page. Without knowing what I was doing it was brought to my attention that comments were not being shown. I realised that without knowing what I was doing I clicked on the moderate comments before they would be published. This is where your kind words spent the day. I did not know how to fix this problem and Ruis's wonderful mom e-mail me with the information I needed to fix this problem.

I am so sorry that this happened and I want all of ya to know that I appreciate all of your kind words and was so happy that CCSI was enjoyed by so many. I try to always keep in touch with those who vist my blog and I will get in touch with all who have taken the time to write to me. It is now so late in the night here so I shall call it a day for now and will get in touch with all who visited me. Don't for get to tune in for Part II
